Well I had always been a irresponsible rider(Till I joined XBhp). I used to get bugged if anyone overtakes me. I will try my level best to overtake him once and then let go. In the process I used to be reckless. Now to be very frank with you guys. I have changed a lot lot. Even my wife and my parents are noticing the changes in me. I don't get annoyed when being over taken by anyone. The best and the most transformation in me because of XBhp is riding safe. It has open my eyes after 15years of riding experience. I used to laugh at people who spent money on safety gears. But now thanks to XBhp I am a changed person. I have purchase some safety gears - Knee and elbow pad, LS2 FF350 Helmet. I am planning to get all the safety gears which are required. Thanks to XBhp for transforming me into a responsible rider.

      Cheers

        Made me a SAFE RIDER.
At first, i was never aware of Overspeeding, Did not realize the importance of Helmet. I used to travel long distances without a Helmet sometimes.
With Xbhp's safety promoting, i realized the importance of safety gear.
Thanx a Ton for making me realize the safe side of riding.

Moreover in the motor cycle section I have seen a thread discussing the best Indian bike forum. I think its just xBhp bashing there and people who don't have any idea at all are readily giving sarcastic comments

            How xBhp helped me???
To say it in a few words. XBhp helped me to make a brand new 2013 RX 135. It's very special to me as its my favourite bike and remained a distant dream that was never fulfilled.
XBhp vetrans helped me to rebuild the bike from scratch, right from the parts catalogue, manuals, all the ideas everything was from xBhp only and I got nice friends too here, who are willing to help any time of the day.
            Finally my dream came true..
            Proud to be xBhpian.

Re: How has xBhp helped you?

I've loved riding since I was a kid, from the humble bicycle through the awesome two strokers to now. For me it's now been a few decades of this endearing passion, often difficult to explain to the 'rest' of the world. Though I've been riding close to 40 years now, it's after I joined xBhp that riding took on a whole new meaning. Suddenly I was among a large, very large, group of passionate bikers and I got to share my/our rides with all of them and also got to share their amazing rides. A flame was truly rekindled and every ride became extra special. So many thanks to this forum which is very close to OUR Heart.

I've penned a log quite some time ago about my feelings, it could explain more.....

What has xBhp taught you ?

                Hello to all fellow xBhpian's
I have been a part of this beautiful family for close to a year now and I can proudly say that my life has been changed in a positive-way due to xBhp. You may ask how can a forum have such a impact on a persons life. Well, it can! From being a brat riding his bike with ignorant attitude, I have now become more composed and responsible in my riding (now I am getting embarrassed)
xBhp has made the impact on lives of many of us here and I would love to know in what way.

For me, I would pen down what xBhp has changed and how it has helped me.

                • Now I know better that riding fast isn't everything. The pleasure of riding can be enjoyed in other ways also.
                • We don't become safe by just wearing a helmet, other gear is also important. Gloves, jacket and always wearing shoes while riding. Accidents don't happen only on highways.
                • I now know how to brake properly and counter-steer during panic braking. Well, when I learned riding a bike, I was told to never use front brake as it would make you fall and that continued till now. But the knowledge present in our forum made me realize that its the other way around. Both the brakes are there for a reason. With the experiences of members and by reading their posts and then practicing it, I can now avoid crashes that used to happen earlier.
                • Stock bike is the best bike. We all get this 'keeda' of modding our rides to gain a couple of bhp's, but always overlook other parameters that need to be change accordingly when one part is changed/modded.
                • I can now do minor servicing, problem/trouble-shooting myself by the information available and also by bugging fellow members.

The list may look small, but its of great importance to me. When I compare myself now and a couple of years back, I can say that now you will see a more responsible and mature rider in me, not a burden and danger to myself and others on the road.

                • All in all, xBhp has made me a better rider and provided me with the knowledge that will help me in the future.

This was a babbling of a complete noob and I would love to know what you all have gained from Xbhp.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Sharing the top 10 things I learnt:

                          • When life gets miserable, get out and get going. You will get down from your ride feeling much refreshed. If you are out of fuel, luck, or both, then visit the Hilarious Quotes thread. It's equally refeshing, environment friendly, and you don't need to move that lazy bum!
                          • Take a nice, long and fast ride. Park your bike. Walk away. If you can walk away without giving your bike a second glance, you have chosen the wrong bike. Go back to the What Bike thread and thrash everyone who adviced you to buy that bike.
                          • Road Rash hurts but can be fun. Only when it's played on the PC. and preferably in multiplayer mode.
                          • It's better to sweat than to bleed. Sweat dries in minutes. Wounds take weeks to heal. Unless the wounds are the love story types - where it takes ages to heal!
                          • Expensive gears are expensive for a reason. That certainly doesn't include Valentino Rossi autographed limited editions.
                          • Swiss watches are the only machines that work flawlessly forever. That's probably why the Swiss never manufactured motorcycles.
                          • Before you honk and flash wildly at the car ahead, put yourself in the driver's seat of the car ahead. Think. ...about the road, not about his BMW's latest in-car infotainment systems.
                          • Even a 50 cc bike can kill, if handled incorrectly. Respect the power. An average healthy human makes 0.25hp. An average 150cc bike is 60x more powerful.
                          • Respect every rider on the road. You are one of them. A different machine doesn't make you a different species.
                          • ...and the best lesson I learnt here... You don't stop riding because you grow old. You grow old when you give up riding.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

I wouldn't believe on this one; 10 people might advice 100 different things based on 1000's of their experience. Where was the owner's brain when buying?

That was supposed to be a humorous add-on and not meant to be taken on serious note.
