"Inspiring by Safe Riding" that line was enough for me to be here amongst all having the same passion and brotherhood...long live xbhp...my pleasure to be a part of it !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

      Thank u

I have been riding bike since 11 years and i never new that my bike had so many things to say to me.
before i just use to ride and now i know bout my bike as i know myself i can right away tell what is wrong with my bike.
all these was made possible through XBHP i learn so many things out there those which i might would have never known throughout my life.
people here are really helpful and all the safety tips here are so life saving that many a times i share these tips to my friends who are not a member here.
friends call me whenever they have problems with their bike and sometime i help them and sometime i try to help them.
In a way i should say that really XBHP has changed the way i took biking previoulsy

well guyz i am not very active member of xbhp ,
have been a part of this family for a long tym
since 2005 i guess , well i have been in love of cars and especially bikes

got my baby in aug 2005 and from then have taken a lot of care of her , well has really happy to see like minded friends how took care of there rides and treated them more as family member rather than a machine

well after getting on to xbhp going throught the forums , i got d information on basics of riding (i didnt knew dat majorty of the braking was done by the front brakes)
well was immature in terms of riding , still cant treat myself as a mature( very less kilometers clocked !!)
got a lots of knowledge of safety gears , and i do my bit of spreading the knowledge by leting others know how importtant a good helmet rather than wearng a road side one !!!
and introdicing my good friend nitin
        "L P"
and you people know how much he has changed too
this was a deed done good , seeing his riding style now and remembrng how he use to ride some years back . its shocking how much he has changed

well i am not in touch with members personally but still feel good and belong to a great family
whenever i see a bike on road with a Xbhp sticker on it , i feel like he is my brother and feel dat we might have been in contact some where on the forums !!!

seeing xbhp crashed and then rising up and launching of a magzine these r some of unforgetable momnt

well hope i always be a part of this family and we expand even more

For me the real journey as a Biker started when i saw a little portion about xBhp in an Automotive magazine way back in late 2004.
That was the year i got my Honda Unicorn and i had lot of things to learn. always been a safe rider But, did't know where to go and whom to contact to know more about bikes and the right attitude.
xBhp gave me that platform which completly transformed me as a biker and a human being. Got very good friends and co-riders.
Have done few touring only after getting the inspiration from xBhp to set myself free. Today in my circle, people know that they can contact me for most of their Biking related queries and i'm proud to help them out.
And i feel really good when my parents understand and trust me as a good and sensible Rider. My Mom loves riding with me as pillion and they have never discouraged me from touring because i've shown them the xBhp site hundreds of time and sometimes my mom tells me more technical and nifty things which i tend to ignore and overlook. All thanks to xBhp.
Thanks xBhp and team for being there for the true breed of bikers out of uncountable fakes.

            Thank you xbhp!

Well, I am just a rookie in the world of biking and I still have a long way to go... but one thing is for sure, and that is xbhp has changed my whole view about bikes and riding and has given me a new outlook about biking...

its not some thing that a common man does every morning while going to his office.. but its something that has to be felt deep inside.... for us bikers, bikes aint a petty mode of transportation, but something we feel connected to.....something which we are proud of... something to which we go to the extent of communicating.... That is passion!

and about biking... no need to mention...I feel assured that I am at the right place. I put down my not so big experiences, clear the silliest doubts, get to know big bikers and their reviews... and all with positive replies....

            well.. credit go to xbhp...

looking forward to ride a lot!!

            thanks xbhp!

i always had a craze for bikes from my childhood
evry next day i see a bike and think about it as this would be my next bike.
i would look at the speed and would assume that this is a super bike or something.
i used to always rate the bike on its looks and never knew the concept call technical specifications.
i would hear many people around me talking about CC's and power etc. but never knew what was that.
once when i was surfing on the net for my new bike , i came across XBHP
from that day till now i am less online on FB and orkut then XBHP
this is the place where i have got tremendous knowledge about the bike.
i have fallen in love with this site.
after being here, even i can stand besides professional bikers n chat about bikes.
i can bring out problems in the bikes and easily rectify with the knowledge or other people.
this place has been like a family.
everyone is there to share their knowledge and experience.
now i care for my bike a lot.
apart from this,i have learnt what safety actually means.
i always thought that wearing helmet and riding gears is such foolish and nonsense thing.
this are for those who dont know to ride bike, but i was wrong.
now i always advice people to buy and wear riding gears that to of good quality and not some local or cheap brand.
i have realised the importance of safe riding after being here.
              i thank xbhp a lot.

Guy's I've mostly been a silent watcher on the xbhp forum trying to gain/improve as much as knowledge before helping out others , but couldn't resist resist writing here.

Well i was never a biker at heart, until a year ago , my bike (ct100) was just used to commute to my college. Things changed seriously after joining xbhp . I was adventurous since childhood but my adventures were limited to trekking and traveling in cars. Never thought how the wind in the helmet feels.
It was then after reading this thread

One of the best write-ups I've ever read.

Later started reading even more travelogues. Reading some very heart touching quotes over the forum and finally saw the light of biking world.I learned to put my feelings to words. The feelings which just abstract and were just in my mind and heart.

Since then things changed completely for me. Started loving my CT100 , bought myself a Yamaha R15. Started touring on motorbikes ,
Tearing through the highways, feeling the winds,Working with my machine in perfect harmony and my god it does feel like heaven.

I'm not a writer. My feelings are much more than my words would describe. It's all in my heart, the privilege of belonging to such community.

xBhp has given me a platform where I've met a lot of people, made a lot of friends. It has showed me that I can do much more with my bike then daily commute and made me a better person while I'm on my bike. I can proudly call myself a biker just because of xBhp and the knowledge I've gained from xBhp.

                    How XBHP helped me

Well, it all started an year ago when I started browsing XBHP (was not a member then) for different opinions on different motorcycling topics.
Actually then I was searching for a motorcycle that could replace my old one.
                    Here is how things happened.
                    1. I did search for reviews of different motorcycles and it appeared to me that this is the best place where real people post real reviews and actually listening to them make you just wise rather than you mug up some theories.
                    2. It took a month for me to understand the pros and cons of different motorcycles (the ones I was zeroing on) and I was more of concentrating on the cons because they give you the bad time.
                    3. Finally when I made up my mind to buy a Pulsar 180, I started researching only on that and to be frank there is availability of more than what one needs to know about this machine on this website.
                    4. I almost had a Pulsar 180 just by reading the articles on it well before I actually owned one. The members are very much detailed when it comes to advising on issues.
                    5. So now since I have experienced point #1 through #4, I have purchased a Pulsar 180 UG4. Oops.. I could not stop visiting xBhp.com : The Global Indian Biking Community - Powered by vBulletin. My search for more continued and I made myself a registered member on this website.
                    6. Next was my turn to explore the topics related to performance improvement, maintainance etc. that would keep my machine healthy. Everytime I visit this website there is something new that catches my eyes and I add that to my knowledge database.
                    7. I started believing that motorcycling is not just owning a motorcycle but the understand the statistics, to know the limitations, to experience both good and bad of it.
                    8. Did I write too much? I am actually not finished yet! I got to know about good helmets, gloves, riding jackets and started owning them one by one (I had a helmet but I replaced with a better one). Now i own 2 pairs of gloves, 1 riding jacket, 1 pair of riding trousers, 1 pair of riding shoes, and 1 balaclava. I never thought about these even an year ago!
                    9. Now how do I look? I have a motorcycle about which I have some considerable good amount of knowledge. I wear protective gears. I follow the science of riding. I am overall a "Standard Motorcyclist" now. Thanks to XBHP for this and also thanks to all the members who unknowingly assisted me to be promoted to a next level motorcyclist (from "below average" one).

                    Regards,
                    Ranadip

I was crazy about motorcycles ever since I can remember. But I never had any friends to talk my hearts out. I came across this amazing community when I was searching to choose my first bike and xBhp played a decisive role to help me choose what I really wanted. Within no time I was like "Alice in Wonderland", so much guys driven by passion for biking. It was like a home coming.

xBhp has made me grow as a better Biker in every way. I came to realize more about personal safety and safety of others only through safe biking motto of xBhp. Thank you guyz for this initiative..........

My journey on xbhp started a few months back, when I got my first my bike. As a college student, I had this excitement to get a bike asap and when I asked my dad for one he obliged and I could select any bike. Looks wise and after riding my friends Fz-s I just fell in love and booked it, then after completing my 1000k I wanted to modify it in such a way so that it stands out than any other bike on the road. I settled for Led bulbs and fancy number plates to start of with and two stickers after I learnt on where to buy them through xbhp. Then, I thought of plugging in horns and when the wiring was screwed I again seeked help through xbhp and got everything fixed.

I also learnt more about safety and other precautionary measures.

I also subscribed to the magazine and everytime I wear the t-shirt that came along, I feel proud

                          A higher sense of purpose.

                          How has xBHP helped me?

For many years, I have sat and stared at the pages of automobile magazines, stroking the images of the xHorsePower vehicles adorning them. The very image of a gleaming beauty on wheels always drove me to a higher level of imagination. Felt comfortable staring at the only things that really meant something to me. Be it on two wheels or four, I always thought owning one would help me realize my purpose in life. The endless waits at newstands just so that I could grab myself a new set of beautiful images to stare at.

Never really understood how exhilarating one must feel sitting on those vehicles. Never really understood how it must feel to stomp on the pedal or gun that throttle and just watch as the world around is just a blaze. When I first got the keys to my bike, I thought I had just entered a new level in my life. I had just realized that one thing that I had always lived for. The sense of being at home set in whenever I sat on the saddle. Nothing else really made any sense henceforth.

xBHP.com has always showed to me what owning an automobile means. Its the only place where I can understand how to truly and honestly respect my machine. It gave me purpose and it gave my machine LIFE. What others might see as just a piece of machinery, I see as a living, breathing example of technical brilliance. Ever since man discovered the wheel, no speed has ever been enough. I understood that on xBHP. It showed me that there are others like me. I wasn't alone.
                          D'oh!

I grew up driving cars. My very own first machine was a car. There came a time when motorcycle seems to make more sense, given the traffic and petrol cost. All my previous experience on a two wheeler will not even clock a mere 5 Kms. Yes, I do know a thing or two as far as 4 wheelers are concern. I was kind of lost when I had to decide on a two wheeler.

Goggle has, as ever came to my rescue. I scoured the Internet. Seeking knowledge about which two wheeler might fit the bill. It eventually landed me to xBhp. I was somewhat stumped as to the well informed folks here as oppose to the usual 'fanboys' that normally infest most websites. I don't particularly find it informative when I come across comments such as "My bike is a beeeeeastt and yours is sheeeeet". Given that xBhp is sanely moderated, it didn't take me long to realize that I came to the right place.

I went through hundreds of pages literally. Humbled by the realization that, there are folks out here that could define stuffs I never thought exist. After several days and hundreds of pages, I finally zeroed in on the Zma-R. This I did without having to post a single query or comment. That wasn't necessary, as almost all topics within the Indian biking scenario seems to have been well covered if one cared to do some search.

To list all I have learned since then, risks the hazard of people skipping my comment entirely. So in short, today, I can provide some basic help to fellow riders with clarity and confidence. All thanks to xBhp.

Needless to add. Nevertheless. Never though, a two wheeler would have such a life changing experience for one who started so late.

                                My Xperience here

Well, For the first time I rode my cousin bro's RX100, I was in love with it. I was a rookie rider those days(Actually still a rookie ) and did wheelies easily on it thinking I was the only fast and furious rider in the city.....
I went to cousin place in vacations that time. I dated that RX100 for few days and then we broke up (Vacations over )

Did most of my schooling on my bicycle and then +2 on Bajaj Spirit. I was back on 2 stroke track
While planning to buy bike I ended up with a RXZ 5 speed(I zeroed on this as suggestions on xbhp and tbhp). It was a YES YAMAHA! from both heart and mind that time. Being unaware about the spares availability I ended up with a bike not upto my expectations so sold it off with a heavy heart. Bought another RXZ 5 speed but didn't had time and courage to rebuild it again so sold it off too.

Did my homework about RX's mechanicals, aftermarket spares, current market scenario(BIG thanks to xbhp, I was just a guest visitor here, not a member that time) and finally after 1 year bought my RX135 5speed, Thanks to Roshiba777

Thanks to everyone here for sharing their views and experience with their machines. I know my bike now much better than before. Thanks again for saving me from those So called expert mechanics who even don't know difference between CC and BHP (This is the scenario in my city atleast )

Xbhp, Keep up the good work.
Bikes don't leak oil, They mark their territory.
