Saw American Gangster & Pearl Harbor.
Both are excellent movies.
American Gangster -> 8/10

PURE AWESOMENESS, for those who "know how it is"
its a very slice-of-life movie with crisp and apt dialogues delivered equally well by the characters. fortunately shimit amin wasn't looking for bankable movie stars and instead went for charcter-actors.
the narrative flows through very thougtfully placed situations, which anyone, who has been in the sales/marketing industry, would identify with.
This i-too-have-been-thorugh-this feel to the situations is what tickles the funny bone and not the regular bollywood tom-foolery that has become a drudgery now-a-days..
rocket singh may not bring in as much moolah as chak de, but its definitely showing the way ahead for meaningful commercial cinema in india.
