Is it rare in Delhi for a movie to release on Thursday?!? Here in Mumbai all big movies open on Thursday evening (normal weekday rates).

the only difference i observed in 4D movies is along with a visual treat there is physical treat as well seats vibrates,jerks,moves...water sprinklers all around ,even in the seat
I once sat in a 4D screening for a short action documentary in Tokyo. The seats actually had BARS (like rollercoasters) on them so that you don't fall off them- there was also a notice about securing all the loose stuff in your pockets so that they don't scatter around during the movie. And a mandatory heart condition-pregnant women thing too. It was that intense!

And with 3D glasses, of course.

THere is the 4D experience provided at the Filmcity. Tried it once on one the short dedicated movies they show . The except for the seat vibrating and creating a racket it was decent. The water sprinkler is directly aimed at our face and is quite a surprise to get sprayed.

At 4D RETRO, Seats jerk like hell, a healthy man would aqquire heart problems due that heck of jerks.
And if you're scared of bath during winter's then go to 4D's and enjoy getting flushed away with those water sprinkler doing 'pich pich' on your face every other second!!
But overall its really a 'lively' experience.

                        • Watched AVATAR at Adlabs, going again today for the iMAX experience...

Spider-Rating : Ultimate... (It'll be disrespectful towards James camaron to even rate this movie on a small scale of 5 or 10...)

the Pandora experience is worth that 12 years of effort that he put in...
                          Mesmerising.

INFO : BTW if no one knows, James Camaron was the person who invented Motion Capture some 15 years back, not technically but it was his Idea. he thought of it only to make AVATAR 12 yrs back, but the studio said they need time to develope this technology more, as the effects James wanted then were not possible... Albert Einstein of the Films I say!
