this is really funny thread ... one from my side....
I was visiting ma frnds place and plan was to reach at his building and giv a call , as i was nearing his place i saw a few good looking guls in the garden n i also noticed they were watching me. so while i was slowing down to bring the bike to a halt i took of my helmet (style main while my ride was still moving).... and i maintained eye contact with one of the gul all through out.
My plan was , as soon as bike stops i wld slightly incline my bike while geting the side stand out, tat way i wld easily maintain eye contact whithout looking down.
But to my luck as soon as bike halted and as i tried to keep my foot down something was wrong i cldnt move my feet from the foot rest and the bike was already leaning and in few secs bam !
I was down the shoe lace was open and got stuck in the footrest !
I was soo embaresed to fall from a stand still bike, i never again looked at any other guls of my frnds complex

Here are some from me:

1) I was about to ride my masi's Kinetic Honda. Had the engine running, she was to be pillion. I asked her if she was ready to go, she said yes, i gunned the throttle. 5 minutes later I realized i was riding alone
She was still standing outside when I came back.

2) I took my friends avengers keys. He asked me if I needed help in starting her. I said 'wtf man, I have been riding for 13 years, I think I can manage without you'. He said ok. 10 minutes later, I call him up and ask, where the fudge is the fudging ignition??

3) I am sitting on the floor cleaning my R15's chain with kerosene and a toothbrush. Im thinking 'dude that guy on youtube must be real dumb, he warned and said we otta be careful with the sprocket, some guys have got their fingers in, they'd have to really stupid'. Crack, crack, crack! and my toothbrush takes a round between the rear sprocket and the chain :P

1) This was when i was in 11th and it was illegal at home for me to take the TVS champ out. My parents were out. Then i see this gal, my neighbor & class-mate going on her cycle. I thought y not race ahead of her on my mean machine! By the time i was out on the road she had taken a turn. So i gunned the TVS Champ 60, as i reached the curve i saw her afar and dint notice the gravel on the road. Than what i skidded and fell face first No helmets those days. Ghash on my chin and cheek!

At least there was no embarrassment of falling in front of her. Managed to bring the damn thing back home. Next day she asked me, "what happened to ur face?", Me: "I tripped and fell face first with my hands in my pocket!". That was my alibi at home as well

2) I was all set for a 3 day trip - 14 bikes trip to wayanad couple of years back. I had packed every thing, strapped on to my bike. Left early in the morning like 5 am to meet the group. After a km or so i felt its unusually cold. Then i realized, of all the things i had forgotten my helmet Though i never ride without helmet. This happened in next trip as well!

i told you guys .. stay away from them to be safe

When Riding Mixes with driving

After 2 freak/minor crashes on my Zma,got a Cage(car) for commuting.

So last 3 months saw me driving the car more than I was riding the bike.

Had 3 funny instances while driving so though of sharing with you all.

1)While driving on NH-1 I had to take a U-turn while I was driving I looked back and tried to raise the Visor of my (hypothetical) helmet(as I always do when I am on bike),which I was not wearing inside the car

2)Tried to twist the cars steering as if it were a throttle.


3)While ripping the car tucked in(moved my body towards the steering wheel for better aerdynamics).


will keep updating this thread if I commit any of these funny errors again.

You guys can share your similar experience if any in this thread.

Hope u did'nt open ur door and put ur kneedown while taking a turn

well...this happened in my tenth std when i had taken my brothers suzuki samurai to the playground...no helmet and no license.... we had parked the bike and i dint lock my bike.. my friend then borrowed my bike and came back 5 mins later....
the game went on...we won... 10sts chaps vs a mix of 9th,8th,7th chaps ...being the winners we started all puffed up....

started the bike with another friend as my pillion....had to take a 180 degree turn towards my left... completed the turn and i try to straighten the bike but it refuses :O

before i think wtf ...i am on my knees sprawling in front of the kids and i haven't let go of the throttle ..amidst the high whine of the two stroke motor and loads of blue smoke i can still hear and see those kids laughing at me...

i curse my friend silently...my pillon curses me silently....

it was then as a flash that i remembered this line from an old issue of auto india

went home with a dented ego..but right now thinking about it brings a lot of smiles..

i once went to my friends place..got down from my bike..went to his home..we both then went to another friend on his bike..spent 2hrs doing TP..when it was time to leave i realized i lost my bike key.phoned home to arrange a duplicate one.

when i reached my friends place i found that my bike was there..key attached to it..and it was in ON mode..ie anybody could sit and go vroom.for 2hrs that bike was in ignition mode.

morale of the story...people are obsessed by foreigners..ie HONDA..they dont believe in india tech..ie bajaj..since many know that once i take this bike its gonna give me trouble.

but it was fun.

one from my side now...when I was studyin, we used to play cricket on the college ground and the facilities (hostel and canteen) were a bit far off from there and so we used to ride there on our bikes...
On one such occassion, we were riding a friend's Bajaj Sunny and after an innings, we realized that we had forgotten to get water. So two of our friends jumped on the Sunny and went off to get the water from the canteen. After some time they both returned and cursed Bajaj for building stupid locks...they said it didnt open up and after a lot of struggle, it finally opened. As it turns out the guy who owned the Sunny started gasping and yelled "WTF...this isnt my bike...you stole some other bike you idiots"...
