Guys, try to be safe always. Ok? It feels bad when someone crashes. Really bad!

Coming back to topic, I never crashed. Although, other strange things happened :-->

    1. My Pulsar skidded a lot when I braked hard to avoid a Pig that came in the middle of the road ... I'm in Rajasthan, dudes!

    2. Once landed my left foot on Gobar - Cowdung ... and got myself embarrased, that too in front of some unknown girls.

    3. I think that's all ... Otherwise, you know we Indians avoid a lot of crashes everyday!

and we're still avoiding them, it's a continuous process ... Ride Safe guys! Regards & Take Care ...

P.S.-i dont want to trigger a underage driving discussion here.....
i m just trying to justify myself.....
firstly there is a difference between young riders and people eligible to ride. understand that first. secondly learn to respect the law and if you think its not coming from a credible source ask the delhi people about me .

and the second thing here "nd just bcoz i m under 18 ,u cant catogaries me as a poser ,young blood or a careless rider"
see kid i dont have anything personal against you or any of the underage riders here or anywhere for the matter of fact , but when i see you guys advertising that publically , now thats dumb. you make me recall a rich brat from a metro here on xbhp who bragged about learning to drive on a BMW and riding a lamborghini and owning a couple of sbks. but thats not the question here. this is a public forum and has to maintain a public image for the society and most importantly the law. and this here my friend makes me fell that it is people like you who dont respect the law and over that like to brag about it.
but the bottom line - i cant do anything about it except advicing you. and it is in the moderator's hands to do the needfull.
      I DONT GET ANGRY.

1.worst crash in life: lost the frnt end of ma bro's TVS XL super while trying to avoid a pothole at 50kmph and kissed earth without a helmet. broken bones, loads of blood. lesson learnt bought a helmet that was 5 years ago.

        2. new bike: learnt how not to use a disc brake by applying it hard on a sandy patch of road whilst cornering hard. tyres locked, lost front end me and brand new bike scratched badly.

        3. race track: started pushing the bike really really fast on the first visit to a race track with near bald tyres at either ends. lost the front end yet again on a 120degree left hander managed to regain balance by the time i was heading to a concrete sump cover on the run off area at 70kmph. BANG!!! wheels and forks bent beyond regocnition, one elbow cracked.

well well i had my share of accidents ... but the major ones are related here :-

1 ) while coming back from my first trip to Rohtang ... near Kiratpur i was pushed off the road to a field by a speeding Sumo ... the bike fell into a ditch and i was thrown off the bike . My elbow was injured badly ... and bike had a broken fairing ... and a bent leg guard. Rode back with the damage to self and bike to Delhi nearly 400km away

              2) i was having a rather rough day in office ... long hours of work and skipping of lunch and breakfast ... at 9:00 pm when i started from my office back home on the first bent i just blacked out due to xhaustion ... and i crashed into the back of parked truck ... no helmet as house was just across the road ... damage ... left eye was saved by a whisker ... the truck peg went right to the bone just under the left eye ... needed a plastic surgery ... a big clot on right back of my head ...needed a CT scan and lots of medicines ... ohhh the plastic surgery was done without anesthestics as EMR docs feared that i cannot be revived back as i was already semi concious !!! ... one nite in Fortis Hospital ... cost all these for one day ... 27000 INR !!! Bike damage - total front fairing and headlamp assembly gone ... clutch leaver bent out of proportion , front fork bent ... fuel tank puntured and needed to be replaced.

              3) In hyderabad ... at banjara hills testing my rear disc brakes ... hit the back of a corolla ... skidded along the road ... bike dragged a bit by the broken rear bunper of the car ... damage to me : skin ripped off exposed forearm and elbow... damage to bike ... damaged clutch foot pedal ... broken fairing and headlamp glass .

welll dats it ... there were others for sure but not as big as the ones above... i now ride safe !!!

it all started when i accepted to go with my friend to pick up his TB from the anna nagar royal enfield showroom... first looks of the bike were just amazing: the wine red and the chrome... i offered to ride the bike and my friend was on my pulsar150. the stat was good and we were in perambur highroad at speeds of around 45-50 and was manuvering through tat road and as i overtook an auto an old guy out of the blue was about to cross the road and i hit the brakes hard...!!! swoooosh the 98k baby was sweeping the floor of perambur high road... and went straight into a parked amby... my fiend was like....!! (man it must be hard for a guy to see his bike crash on the day of its delivery.)... he jus ran to me and for a second i tot he was goin to help me out... but he jus moved me out of the way and started inspectin the bike..... and thus accident on a bike that has jus done jus 18km.... i think i have set a record... .. damge was minimal to me... man when it comes to bullets the guard u to the max.... no compramise there..... as for the bike... dented tank, broken speedo, rpm panel, left mirror gone, bent handle bar, bent crash guard, left foot rest broken, gear lever bent, front fork bent, front wheel bent and tyre punctured.... phew... was quite a catostrophy for me when i had to pay the moolah for the damage.. came to a whooping 12k.. man enfield spares are freakin costly at the showrooms...!!!

the second one was in doraiswamy subway at around 120+kmph and 3 30 in the morning... was goin to pick up a friend when it happened.. the usual spot lights there was off and my headlight was very dull... i took note with my feeble headlight that there was a pumkin in front of me and leaned a bit and to my horror it was not one but it was a pool of slushed pumkins..!!!! i knew hittin the brakes would end in chaos... left the throttle open and left the bike do its tricks... went straght into a pothole and the bike slipped and i went for the pavement wall... i was thrown off the bike and onto the wall... my helmet saved me... saw the visor break into pieces... was spared with a fractured right arm and a scar, the size of 2 passport photos in my right arm, a ligament tare in right foot... was in terrible pain and took note of my bike 10 to 15 feet away... due to the adrenaline pumpin, i gt up, took the bike and went to SRM hospital... got my self bandaged... the bike was totally damaged... tank bent beyond repair, leg guard broken and ws missing(think i left it in tat place itself), doom could not be identified....

lesson..: drive with helmet and please donot leave pumkins unattended and in the name of god please turn on lights in doraiswamy subway... we do pay our road tax

                    ride safe people...

It was year 2000 & i was riding my new CBZ(Only 4 days old) & skidd on sharp turn @60+ speed escape with no majour enjuries to me & my bike only crash guard get some scratches but my left knee hurt deeply (man i lost my fav jeans that day).
Second time i was going to attend my friends bday party riding @30 kmph speed & stupid roadside shopwala washing his shop & soap water flowing on the road caz of it i skidd but that time i get up & slap him & runaway within second or he & other shopwala would have beat me.
Third one & very brutal on my Zma in 2006 when i was going to pick my GF to her office on Malad flyover i was riding @90+ suddunly car (Honda city) in my front start wobbling & break hard somehow i manage to avoid collagen with car & next moment i was lying on the road & watching my bike going away from me very fast i heard some hard breaking behind me two three bikers stop & pick me up my left shoulder ,elbow & palm hurt badly.Helmet save my head caz when i check there are many deep cuts on it(for a moment I just imagine if helmet was not there ) & bike dont asked visor gone,Handle bend, mirrors break front & rare signal light broken, Rare cowl gone. but honstly guy's first thing come in mind is if my parents watch my bike condition they never allowe me to ride it again so i decide to take my bike to nearest service station but it was 7pm meance closing time & mach asked me to come tomorrow as they are closing but i speak to owner(a good person ) & conveynce him he asked his mac to do it & man the way he give me a look & unwillingly start doing his work & finishes around 8.15pm(by the time i found doctor & bandage my self). after reaching home i told my parants i met with an small accidents(forgive me god ).

I've been involved in two crashes until now, both on my Activa.

The first one isn't that much of a crash. I was riding at around 50~60ks on a single lane road, and there was this santro car ahead of me. I honked my horn intending my move to overtake him from the right side. When I was almost approaching the doors of the car, I noticed that he wasn't allowing me to overtake. Then I suddenly saw a Tata sumo coming at a high speed in the opposite direction dangerously close. I was very desperate since if I don't get back into my lane fast, I would be under the wheels of the oncoming car. I raised to full throttle cutting off sharply to the left as I was accelerating. Then suddenly I heard a noise and felt as if something hit my ride from the side. Then I realised that my ride hit the car's front tires, and somehow the rim of the front wheel came off. Fortunately I escaped with no injuries and no damage to the ride and there was no pillion rider.

The second one was a low speed crash which happened when I was at the beach with my friends. As we prepared to go back home, I had a pillion rider who didn't sit in a proper position. When we were leaving, I was riding at a slow speed around 20~30k and I was leaning a little to the left to avoid hitting a parked bike. But as the pillion was not seated properly, he lost his balance and fell to the left side and the bike skidded as it was a sandy road near the beach. I was left with abrasions near my left elbow and left knee and the pillion rider had abrasions on his left knee. That was the first time I ever got hurt while on a bike. At first I thought it was just minor wounds, but later when we stopped nearby at a hospital, I started getting dizzy, and had blurred vision. Then I took some water, and as I drank, the vision became clearer and clearer. When I had a headache since the crash, I realized that I was experiencing a minor concussion. Previously I thought such injuries only occur if the head hit something . Fortunately it was very minor and I got better as I rested for the day. I wasn't wearing any protective gear, not even helmet, since I thought it wouldn't be necessary for an Activa. But now after realising how even such a low speed crash can cause some serious damage, I always ride with atleast a helmet on my head.

Well I never knew this thread existed. And for the accidents record I hold 13. 7 were in bicycle and remaining in two wheelers. Ill list the two wheelers only.

                            1. Me an my cousin was going in a TVS 50 in my native during Diwali night and my cousing was driving it. It was a very long slope and it was raining. ??HE dint notice the big pothole created right because of the rain and crashed and lost the balance. WE were sloping through all the gravel stones and sand. While my both forearm`s were bleeding and even bruises in the legs. Since my aunts and sisters were walking behind us, they took us to hospital immediately.

                            2. This happened during my second year in college. My father`s assistant left his Passion in my house and they went to work. Since the key was in my house, I wanted to drive the bike. A friend also wanted to come with me. And so we went for a round. It was a semi wet road and while I tried to bank too much in a corner, the bike slippped due to bad tire and wet road. My pillion immediately jumped but I got dragged towards the pavement. I was seeing the bike hitting the opposite pavement as I was getting dragged. My flat friends were seeing this accident as my flat was in the end of the road. I got my left knee ligaments teared, left foream bruised near the joint, right leg some bruises. I couldnt even stand with my left leg. My friends carried to the hospital which is opposite to my flat. There I could feel my knee bone being touched while cleaning the wounds. As for the bike, The fairing was gone and whole left was broken. Its rear suspension was also damaged. The worst part is after getting it repaired, the owner (my father`s assistant) met with a serious accident with that same bike. His neck bone was broken. two fractures in left hand for him. Bad bike!!

3.This happened during the night before Diwali(I have bad karma on Diwali). This happened right 6 months after the above accident. My mom told me to park my sister`s scooty inside the flat. But instead I drove it for a round. It was 9.40pm so nobody was there in the main road except few vehicles. An auto was travelling very slowly in the middle of the road and I lost patience and tried to overtake him. Since I was watching the driver while overtaking, I didnt notice the pothole in front of me. Bam went in and the rear tire got caught and I fell to the side. It was a horrific accident. Both my arms and legs were full of wounds. My left last three fingers were fully teared. I couldnt even move the ring finger. Both my knees were badly hurt. I sat near the entrance of a shop there. The area was full of dripping blood. Luckily a man who came to drop his daughter came to help me. He offered me to drive to my home as it was near. He actually came by walk with his daughter there. HE dropped me in my home and was with me till I went to hospital. ITs very rare to get persons like those. After gettting treatment, I still went for the morning train with full of bandages to my native. I was limping for a month and went for college. As for the Scooty, its left side of the fairing was broekn and the left handle bar bent. Rear view mirror was seeing the sky.

                            4. This is a minor accident and it happened in my Victor bike. As I was cornereing near a blind turn, a dog crossed me and I actually hit its back body and fell. Had a small wound in my left ankle. My bike`s gear lever was bent.

                            5. This accident was with my Dio with sister as my pillion. In Tnagar near Ranganathan street, I tried to cut a car near signal and the car`s front hit me and we both crashed to the middle of the road. Once we crashed, the car zoomed away. I would have never thought of arguing with the car driver since it was my mistake. A bus coming from behind us stopped immediately as he just was moving with the signal turned green. I never got any wounds but a small scratch in my right palm. My sister got a scratch in the right leg. I took the vehicle and asked my sister any problem. She said nothing and We started off the next moment. All happened in a span of 30 seconds. I didn't even notice the damages in my Dio.

                            6. This accident happened too in Dio but this time it was near YMCA. Me and my sis was returning after seeing a film. And I was driving casually. There were a Indica in front of me and an Innova in front of Indica. As my left hand was paining, I took it off for relaxing. And at that same time , a mentally retarded man suddenly crossed the road. Everybody was braking. I was doing 30km/hr. As everything was in a sudden, I had my hands on my front brake only. I knew If i give too much front braking I might skid. So I applied it very lightly just to reduce speed. I surely knew that Im going to hit. And I hitted the rear end of the Indica very hardly. Due to the inertia, my sister slided and hit me from behind. I hitted the front part of the handlebar. Due to her additional force, I got hit very hard in the stomach. I just got operated for herenia 4 months back. I cant tolerate the pain. I hit the road and I was rolling in the road with pain in my abdomen. Actually my left palm was bleeding and my ankle got scratched. The whole traffic came to a halt. I was in the middle of the road and watching the sky. I was surrounded by people and I lay like that for 3 minutes. My sister was telling others to put me in the pavement. Also she told that she was worried because I was operated 4 months back. All the people were asking my sister whether she is wounded but she said to them to take care of me. A woman phoned the ambulance and she helped me to get up. By the time, my sis phoned my dad and he came there with an auto. The ambulance people treated me my wounds. As for the Dio, the whole front was damaged. The left side was completely scratched and broken. The handlebars were bent. The repair cost was Rs.9600

I got lot of lessons learnt from these accidents and nowadays, Im very careful while driving. I even bought a helmet. Nowadays I never drive while im in anger. Even I get angry while driving, I do some breathing practices to calm myself. Due to these accidents, my right knee is very weak till now.

Also the current state in Indian roads is very bad and accidents do happen even we are perfect. So try to learn the rules and regulations, properly know the driving and then hit the road. As Im seeing some under age guys openly saying they have a bike and discussing their "class" driving. Its the parents who should guide the children. And I sincerely request the parents not to encourage such things. @Mulli84- Bro, it seems you have a long list of accidents. Glad you are fine and even after so many accidents you still ride. Ride safe with proper safety gears But i think your riding style is a crazy type , just a guess and mean no offence
