Seems that I am the old man here as I have not crashed even once, either on two or four wheels. Yes, some close shaves (due to !@#$%^&* a**e****s on the road breaching even my alert defensive techniques) but no spills, thank the Almighty and my guardian angel.

Yes I was crazy during my college days and 2 years after that because I was under heavy depression. At last I learned a lot of lesson after giving my body a lot of pain. I never wanted to leave driving because of accidents. Actually the worst accident happened while siting as pillion in a bicycle. I nearly lost my left eye. My whole area below the left eye was peeled off. No hard feelings Bro!

Yes, but Im valuing the helmet`s importance now particularly in the highway.

ok let me count mine...3 proper crashes, and 2 at speeds less than 5 kmph

1 Slide like a boss @80kp/h with pillion, My Right knee got injured that's it, New Vega Helmet saved me alot as I banged directly on my head & then Roll & roll & roll towards left side .. surprisingly my pillion got no Injuries not even minor one...


& Other one was just a taxi kissing my rear scoop at less then 20kp/h ...& I decided to drop my bike rather then taking it to divider :/

First one was a high speed cornering, went out of the road. Reward = scratched up fairing and a bend collarbone.
Second slipped on a oil patch while cornering. Gladly I was in full riding gear so I wasnt hurt. But replaced fairing from first fall got damaged.

Third, while overtaking auto rickshaw, he took a right turn and hit me. Result, scratched up replaced fairing again also helmed banged hard on tarmac. Not wanting to take a chance, bought a ls2.
I'm sure I'll go down again, hop it will not be a head on collision

2 crashes, minor injuries.

1. On a battered Bajaj scooter - car at the front braked all of a sudden and I hit the rear brakes hard. Mighty skid and ended up on the right side of the road. Luckily no divider. Funny thing I fell at the exact entrace of the RTO office. Bruises on the palms and the arms. Not much damage to the scooter.

2. 2012 Dec, friend's Honda Unicorn - don't really know what happened. All I remember is seeing a load carrying auto in the front and hitting the brakes hard. Skidded and fell right on the middle of a busy road. Missed the back of the auto by inches else would have crashed straight into the auto (and did not have an helmet). Another auto driver helped me get up and lift the bike. Could have been bad somehow very minor injuries. Bruises on the palms and sprained left leg which lasted for many days. No damage to the bike except for scratches on the headlight assembly.

One crash.

One major one with me getting a head injury. Internal bleeding. Haven't operated it as the doc said we shall wait to see if it'll go off naturally. Been 4 years since and no major issues. They told me that I may have to keep on neck brace all the time, for life. But had it rectified by a Sidha therapist. No problems now.

Other injuries included my upper lip getting punched with a 2 cm gap by the shard of helmet visor when I hit the ground face first and a scratch on my right hand finger.

Incident: Was returning home after buying some clothes with my brother. There came a Kinetic Honda, (yep you heard it right.), with two fools doing drunken driving. The rider looked back at the auto-rickshaw which he just grazed and swerved to 2 meters gap right infront of me. I had Bo time to evade thought I was just gaining speed after slowing down. He came head on and hit my bike. Nothing happened to my brother as he flew and fell away from the bike. Onlookers said my brother rose to a height of about a lamp post and I went straight down and under the wreck. I lost consciousness right then and woke up after about 2 hours. Was bed ridden for about 2 months.

Well one of my cousins had a similar experience back when he bought his first bike, a passion. He took delivery from Ernakulam with his friend who has a RE and this Guy offered, rather wanted, to ride the bike. When they were coming back this guy who rode the new bike lost control while in a corner where he tried to swerve it away from an oncoming lorry. Though at lower gear, he mistook the gear for break, from his RE habit and the bike went through the perimeter wall and ended in an unused well. My cousin must have had the above expressions then.

I went down in jan. 2008 when I was run off the road by a drunk driver. I broke 9 ribs, and my elbow. I spent a week and a half in the hospital, went through 3 months of rehab and then got back on a motorcycle and never looked back. Don't dwell on the what could happen in life, but instead focus on enjoying life to the fullest.

Not any severe crashes, but had some ugly ones,
1st- on my Hercules MTB, was trying ultra slow riding, I was studying in std 6th then. got stuck in rough patch of road and fell down, a pretty thick blood vessel on left ankle got punctured by bicycle rear sprocket tooth. No damage to bicycle.

2nd, again on same bicycle, was returning from school, nicely cruising in front of a college, and wham! Front brake assembly broke and got tangled in front wheel, bicycle and myself flat on ground after a flip! Left the place hugely embarrassed!

3rd, a real ugly one, on my P150, was riding in a lane at about 25-30kmph, and suddenly a pig came in front, thought I would tackle it, but the stubborn animal dashed into the bike from a side, taking my bike and me down. Real ugly part, bike skidded away, but I fell straight on the swine just out of mud!
No damage to bike, or any serious injury to me spare a few bruises..

Accidents are funny things in life. Every accident is a unique one. I take precaution from the previous one, hell a new one comes up and I end up wondering what should I do next to stop such things, here is my share

1. This happened while running towards a bus stop to catch a bus, didn't bother so either side of the road as what was coming. Ended up smashing my head against a STD Bullet. I guess I hit the bike so hard, he fell off balance . That's one hell of a skull I am born with

2. A newbie to Disk brakes. Applied the brakes when I saw a cycle cutting across me in a small lane and next second was on the ground scrapping the mud off my pants. Ended up with a torn knee and blood oozing. Had just my helmet on that time

3. Tried to negotiate a pot-hole and lost balance and ended up right infront of a metropolitan bus. He was happy enough to spare my life that day. No gears on, except my helmet. No damage to me or my bike

4. This was a major one. none from my part though, A speeding bus, tried to negotiate a car on his right and steered left and hit my handle bar. THUD. That's was I heard. It was thunder on my head. Next moment I realize, the bike was away from me. I was lying in middle of the road with my right elbow torn open and blood pouring. Heavy damage to bike, Tank, silencer, fork bend. Ended up in hospital, 4 stiches and 3 weeks of no bike as he was also being mended

5. Was hit from a car from behind while standing in the signal. Tail light broken and I broke his jaw . I didn't feel sorry for what I did. I was indeed happy and hope he learnt a lesson that day to respect the signals.

6. This one I dedicate to Metro rail project. I was coming down through a main road after work at 11 pm. It was all barricades covering enough so that we don't get a chance to see what surprises comes out from the junction. There he was standing in the middle of the road, Staring at my head lamp, don't know where to do, I tried moving to the left to avoid him, poor thing got scared and moved left.... s**t was the word came out from my helmet....next thing I remember, I saw him wagging his tail and moved ...I was looking at the clear sky and counting stars...and two ppl came and interrupted my view.

1st very ugly--- was riding pulsar 150 ,, the oldest one with round light,,,, 105 was speed a pig came from side ways like a rocket i rode over it only thing i remember i flown and banged to tree,,,, when i woke up 3 ribs broken both arm broken leg broken all broken i was,,,, aur kamaal ki bat itne bade accident ke baad bhi mere ko zara bh dard nahe huaa,,,, i passed out the moment i hit the tree,,, and came back fully covered into plaster,,,,

2nd--- R15 v2 ,,, a girl riding ahead of me on scooty like creature talking to phone simultaneously fell all of a sudden like potato sack,,, all i did is save her being ridden over but cdnt saved her scooty like creature or thing i rode over it,,,, and bang,,, smell the road simultaneously,,,no injury just the bruised knee and arm,,, bike side fairing's paint job turned into moon's surface had to redo it,,,,
