Super cute puppies !! dint know there was a thread for doggies here !!! I myself have a dobermann.. he is almost 8yrs old now.. been sick for a while keeps bleeding from his nose from time to time for no reason.. doctors are not able to figure out what is wrong but he is well as in he eats,sleeps,plays.. any idea guys? any doctors you would suggest in chennai?

Dude, Get him checked properly ASAP from some better doc/specialist or get a x-ray done.

This is my GSD name Browny!! I feed stray dogs and medicine them along with some admitting into hospitals, I really hate to see stray dogs in gruesome pain or bone fracture cases!!

holy..!! Huge handsome rott there man.. I've heard rotts are hot tempered. Is it true.. Hows his temperament.?

Rots are one of the very sensitive and Hot temper dog!! Well know for biting their own owners!! Rot/Pit Bulls are the two breeds which need excellent command and training else they will make family living to toss!! Very brave and hard dog to roam with, if any person has a small info about rot he will never come close to the owner, because a small mistake and root will snatch off a part of mass!!

Anyways, here it is, from my last camera mobile, Samsung INNOV8 8MP:
Her name is Maggi. My family gave her away one day...

Reason: We never let our dog mix up with other dogs. Neither did we know anyone with a good breed doggy.
One day, somebody left our main gate open, and a stray dog sneaked into our bungalow.
The stray dog had <<you know what>> with our doggie and she didn't raise a sound. All of my family members were angry.
My sister started beating her. Even I was a little angry but I regret it now. She was very sad, and stopped eating for 1-2 days.
I started patting her 2-3 days after that, but my family hated her like anything! Dad, sister, everyone!
4 months later, the doggie had 4 kids from that stray doggie. My family decided to give them away, except for 2 kids.

It's a really shame to hear this!! If she matted with a stray then what was the problem?? ok it was a mistake and you could have given the puppies to some one for free or could have asked doctor after the incident, you could have asked to abort it, which was possible!!

They very weired thing which i felt here is you all hated her like anything, and after that you all hit him and now you all are sorry!! Dogs are those creatures which are very sensitive and never forget the abuses!! They keep it in their heart!!

My eyes got somewhat wet, as I'm reminded of my maggi once more due to your post. But its ok, no problem.
Anyways... I remember, for 2-3 days I was angry too, as I expected her to bark, when strangers/ other animals enter our home.

But, I still wanted to keep her after those 2-3 initial shock days. But all my family members were against this, including the servants. I tried explaining them but it was to no avail... nobody had ears to listen any ideas regarding keeping Maggi.

I always loved dogs, and always used to feed the stray dogs at college. But I just can't find the guts to own a pet again after that bad ending... Maybe I was guilty a bit... or a lot. But, all that shouldn't have happened. No. it shouldn't have.

@ samarth: sad to hear that, bro...but thats how life is.

@ somen: i too had one who looked very much like the picture you have posted, his name was zorro. unfortunately he died due to illness and our whole family was so sad for so many days we couldn't even eat properly.

and then i decided, no pets from now on, their life is less then yours and its too painful to see them die in pain. the medicle facilities in our country for animals is not that great.

i have a dog which is 1.9 years of age, it had 4 half litre milk packets but it is fine , no signs of any problem.
should i take him to vet?
