Don't know where to post this. I am using ulysse speedometer app.It is a very good app with all the functions we can think of. The best feature according to me is the tracks feature where the whole route we have taken is displayed.plus you do not need internet to use it.Do give it a try.

A must read for all those who want a New breed of fones under 10k wid 3000mah batt., 5.5 screen, gud processors, 4g, etc..

Ever since the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, the sub 10k price point in India has seen quite a lot of new entrants with impressive specs for the price point. Yu launched its first smartphone, Yureka with great specs at a stunning price of Rs 8999. Now most of the OEMs are looking into […]

Yes...my pick of the lot would be RedMi Note 4G. Amazing hardware and even better MiUI! I got it for my Mom at 9K with a discount voucher.
If it was there earlier, I wouldn't have spent 30K on my Note 3 Neo, which now costs 19K.

Guys anyone who had yureka phone can you tell me about its build quality.
I don't have even below avg experience with micromax when it comes to build quality. I had a funbook of micromax which broke apart In two pieces after it fell from just 20cms.
I love the yuphoria, only problem is how will be its build quality
I have a redmi also and its build quality is very good .

I have one and build quality is solid !! Unlike other micromax .. Doesn't feel bulky and plasticky .
But the screen size makes it slighlty uncomfortable to use at times ..
And a full charged battery ( full changing takes 3 hrs or so ) easily lasts a day ..

You can alternatively check asus zenfone or mi4i ( look and feel is better than yureka ) or if budget permits one plus one ..

Dear all, Change in workplace policy dictates that all cellphones with Cameras are a NO-NO. I have about a week from now to procure a compliant phone. The one I could find out on google is Ino which is not readily available in India and also priced at 14k is out of my budget.

Here is my requirement, I am looking for a "device" that provides decent 3g browsing, along with support for apps like whatsapp and skype. If it supports two sim cards it would be wonderful. Please suggest a phone/phablet that would fit the bill and you experience using it if you already have it.
                    I have a a MI3 phone at present.

                    Thanks.

                      Hi Anuj,

I m a Nexus fan and my nexus got stolen and still not recovered. so had to buy a cheap phone. but the yureka is worth for its bucks.

I personally use the Yureka and is an awesome phone. The only i had was with the memory card. when ever i inserted memory card.. i had frequent app crashes and was sick of it..

i removed it and it is butter smooth.. i took backup of all my music, pics and videos on google drive. simple solution.

The build quality of the fone is good.. i havent put screenguard which comes in the box along with it... the screen still doesnt has a scratch.. and my bike's key and mobile stay in the same pocket.
well that is enough said for the build quality. The back panel is a little slippery. but you get used to it in a day or two.

Cheers... if u looking for a feature rich Phone.. go for it..

I can't tell much about the build quality because I held it only for 5 minutes... A student of mine ordered it from Amazon. We were disappointed... The deal that appeared to be value for money, in reality was just a cost cutting exercise...

The display was good, but the camera was trash!

While the Redmi 1s had only an 8 MP camera, it still gave better details that the oil paint like mess of the Yureka...
Yes, 8MP of 1S had more detail than 13 MP of Yureka. Yureka used to smear up details in greenery and foilage... Even Autofocus of Yureka was damn slow!

Indoor, the camera hardware showed why it sucks. A lot of noise in the images!
The Redmi 1S captured a photo with ISO 300 indoors. Same place the Yureka had to do ISO 600... This means either smaller sensor or bad lightning capturing of the sensor....

Eventually, the student returned it to Amazon. I normally avoid a bad review, but how can a camera be so inferior when its claiming to be 13MP?? I know Megapixels don't equal quality, but they do equal "fine detail".
Yureka's camera has nothing over the Redmi's camera.... And you guys can test it out if you don't believe me.

I loved it mate! There are many options now like the wood, carbon fiber style and the sandstone black.. the internals are impressive however you can choose the 64gb variant and get 4gb of ram(instead of 16gb, 3gb). According to indian express it will retail at 24,999 INR. The phone is really worth it. The only con is that it lacks a 4k display but who cares man! It's not gonna make much of a difference. Overall i really liked the phone[emoji4]
