I think it may be an app too. Check all apps and see which needs contact permission. Or do a factory reset if it's not too much a hassle for you.

Also you can try and see what happens if you set up all contacts again by deleting and then restoring them all again.

Guys I own a Samsung galaxy s3. Few months back I tried installing CyanogenMod custom ROM and half succeeded with it. The ROM was successfully installed but the previous data I had in my phone memory couldn't be accessed any more and the space occupied by those data is not usable. Now am planning to take the phone back to stock. But, am not sure how to do it. Any help is appreciated.
P.s. I have backed up all the important data, so formatting everything is not a problem.

As of now, there are no guides for modding the Indian version. Anyways I've managed to kill and revive the phone just out of curiosity. If anyone is interested I can give the details. And personally there's no point in rooting the phone, all customizing can be done without it, thanks to the MIUI OS

                      Hello all,

Currently using micromax canvas 2 plus. Looking for a upgrade. Budget @15K. My main reason for upgrade is Reliability. Micromax miserably failed in this aspect for me.

I have shortlisted Asus zenfone 5 & xaiomi mi3. Which one will be better/reliable? Or should I look for some other options?

At that price you can have old Sony Xperia SP, cheapest(if I'm not mistaken) smart phone with Adreno 320 Graphics chip-set.
