It used to work fine indoors, even my mom's htc explorer's maps is working fine. I still doubt that the upgrade to kitkat was the culprit.
Anyways I am going for sygic now.

      ...
+1 However, accuracy takes a nose dive since fewer satellite signals reach indoor.

So, we've an aGPS counter example which is working on a HTC.

      1. Was real-time navigation working on your Xolo before upgrade. I mean when you walk/ride on streets, did it update your location on map every second?

Yes, I used GPS for all my navigation, and it updated my location quite accurately (on 3G)

Then you're in bad luck as everything seems to point towards OS update. Can you reach Xolo-Care for OS revert to stock image/version.

I didn't update OS(major-releases) on Xolo Q800 (X-Edition) & Sony Xperia SP since there were several issues posted on respective forums pertaining to updates.

Got a new cellphone. Samsung Guru Music E1282 . Has almost everything. GPRS support Music etc. No camera. But does the job neatly. Best part is the battery backup. And again I dropped it from my bed. Lol. Nothing happened. Great backup for my samsung galaxy mega 5.8.

Never drop a phone,[emoji6] well at least a touchscreen phone on the floor. My Z1 went kaput for 2 full days after I dropped it on the floor. It scared me to hell so much so that I've decided to purchase this flip cover case for its safety. I think they are very essential nowadays when phones cost 50-60k's.

ok techies... here is the situation.

I have a Micromax Canvas 2 A110 which was bought on April 2013 (don't ask me why). Just few days back while I was texting on what's app the phone hanged. When I restarted the touch screen wasn't working. I can see incoming call coming but neither I can accept or disconnect. Not able to access the phone as it's code(number) locked. I even tried researching on google about it and landed in some mobile forum. One of the post suggested that the phone be switched off and then pressing both the volume buttons and then pressing the power button, we will get access to a menu. Even that didn't help. 2 queries from my end

                  1. SC nearest to Nehru Place, Delhi of MM.
                  2. Can this be repaired at Gaffar Market, Delhi

Edit : Absolute noob so didn't do (know how to) any upgrade of OS

The problem with chinese mobile manufactures is that there are no service centers for the brands. They are not yet established as global players and only have reputation as big manufacturers in their home country. Therefore, I would suggest not to go for brands that have better service centers.

Why do you have to reply when you have no info about it.

They have many service centres in delhi, one of which is company run, with a record turnaround time of 2-4 hours.

According to Xiaomi, it has set up a total of 36 service centres across 20 major Indian cities and plans to expand the number in the coming months. Out of these 36 centres, two centres – Arjun Nagar, New Delhi and Koramangala, Bangalore – are the Xiaomi exclusive service centres, which will be run by the company itself. Rest service centres are actually multi-brand with which Xiaomi has partnered with.
