Always go with a samsung guru. Nokia phones below 5k are cheap quality. I will tell you the module no. In the evening.

I concur that Samsung makes better phones these days in basic models. Nokia has degraded, it's not what it used to be in these basic sets.

Take a look at Samsung Guru Music E1282

I'm all for a Samsung phone but I can't find the schematics online. I have a, umm... let's just call it a problem, I must find the service manual of a vehicle or the schematics of the electronic gadget before I buy it. For now, I have made some jumper connections on a Nokia 1600 and it is doing the job, but sooner or later, I will have to replace it with a newer one.
          I am back!

Guys, any reviews about Xolo phones, particularly Q1010i. Planning to buy it in. Any other option available? No Samsung.

One of my Friend is using it since a month. No issues expect reboot one or twice in a week. The phone is superb on specs. But a compromise is visible in build quality.
The another option you can consider Lenovo S660 with marathon battery. (Verify model no.)

We've Xolo Q800 X-Edition in our family, aGPS sucks big time. I liked everything in that phone except GPS support. Q1010i has aGPS chip on it!

We've Lenovo A850 phone as well, aGPS doesn't work (tested near E-City BLR area (AirTel))

If you want GPS then make sure it works on phone you're going for. GLONASS is best bet as of now; I'm not sure why aGPS is not working in real time.

Glonass is the Russian version of Global Positioning System.
Its same as normal GPS, but uses Russian satellites. Now a days, high end phones come with both GPS and Glonass.
(I hope my info is correct)

GPS - direct link to satellites, sometimes it can take a lot if time to lock down location.
                      Slow data rate.

AGPS- works with internet on cell phone which is assisted by cellular service provider. So, it needs fast internet like 3g. (Because nowadays Airtel, Docomo and many others have slow 2g internet with speed not even exceed 1kB/s. )
I have seen agps working. Initially, it will lock the location of nearby cellular tower. Then after few seconds it will lock down exact position. But due to slow internet sometimes agps may get stuck on cellular tower.

This is all what i have experienced and learned. May not be 100% true. Try to google to find out more for exact differences.
