Re: Mobile Phones
I am not very sure about this but I think Micromax gets the phones from china and re-brands it for sale in India.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostMicromax is Indian Brand (1999)

Tell me a single company whose none of the parts come from china....every other company including apple, samsung, nokia and many more buys most of the part from china itself...

Re: Mobile Phones
Sir have you opened a micromax device. .? I have opened my funbook when it went dead in 2 months. It was a Chinese tab a10 wrapped in micromax packet. If you have a micromax device, try searching for its Chinese device source, you'll find an exact Chinese device launched before mmx launched theirs. And I'm not talking about parts, I'm talking about whole device.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostMicromax is Indian Brand (1999)

LG l9.
Many other LG phones (selective models)
Htc
Some BlackBerry models (not blackcherry or blacklehri) are made all over Canada, Mexico, Hungary.
Some Apples are made in foxconn Brazil.
Some Samsung's in korea.
Use Google.

Re: Mobile Phones
Just because some other company launched almost same thing, does that mean the brand is also Chinese?
And whats the proof that LG's none of the parts are not Chinese made.
Lets stop labelling brands as Indian/Chinese/Korean and focus on what the thread is about - "Helping posters with mobile brands in their budget." And leaving it to their discretion what to choose.Last edited by prateek2210; 03-02-2014, 08:25 PM.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Mobile Phones
I guess you must be running android kit kat or android 4.3 jellybean. I read an article today from hindustan times saying that a majot virus has heen found on these two OS by some indian organisation responsible for checking security threats and hacks. Some users have been experiencing such problems like yours due to the virus. It is posing a major threat to security also.Originally posted by shehbaaz View PostGuys I'm using a note 3 and it's showing null when I check imei number and baseband version is also showing unknown. You could have claimed warranty. if you bought without bill then its surely a copied one.
Well i am considering my next mobile as nexus 5 but cant consider gionee series as they are new in market i would better invest in our old mmx.Originally posted by Rishabh14 View PostIf anyone is buying an android, please consider gionee elife e7. Its better than nexus and note3
Well if phone is in warranty and you didnt tried to flash the mobile or root it then you could contact A.S.S.Originally posted by shehbaaz View PostGuys I'm using a note 3 and it's showing null when I check imei number and baseband version is also showing unknown. Re: Mobile Phones
Dont know what the real problem is . Even google chrome usrrs and firefox users have been alerted. It's mainly due to the VPN provided in the android systems. Check this link out.Originally posted by shehbaaz View PostYeah I guess so! Even my sister has got the same problem when she updated her note 2 to 4.3 a few days ago!! A critical flaw in Android can allow attackers to capture entire communication originating from a device.
