In my opinion, one should never spend more than 8k on any Chinese phone (micromax, xolo, karbon, lava etc) .

        Micromax is Indian Brand (1999)
Xolo again is Indian Brand (2012)
Karbonn is too Indian Brand (2009)
Lava is also Indian Brand (2009)

Xolo and Lava now work in partnership.

Didnt know Indian brands are termed as Chinese Brand

I am not very sure about this but I think Micromax gets the phones from china and re-brands it for sale in India.

Sir have you opened a micromax device. .? I have opened my funbook when it went dead in 2 months. It was a Chinese tab a10 wrapped in micromax packet. If you have a micromax device, try searching for its Chinese device source, you'll find an exact Chinese device launched before mmx launched theirs. And I'm not talking about parts, I'm talking about whole device.

              LG optimus Gt540 .
              LG l9.
Many other LG phones (selective models)
              Htc
Some BlackBerry models (not blackcherry or blacklehri) are made all over Canada, Mexico, Hungary.
Some Apples are made in foxconn Brazil.
              Some Samsung's in korea.
              Use Google.

Just because some other company launched almost same thing, does that mean the brand is also Chinese?
And whats the proof that LG's none of the parts are not Chinese made.

Lets stop labelling brands as Indian/Chinese/Korean and focus on what the thread is about - "Helping posters with mobile brands in their budget." And leaving it to their discretion what to choose.

Have you done something to your phone (like factory reset or updating it to latest Android or rooting or flashing some firmware?)

I guess you must be running android kit kat or android 4.3 jellybean. I read an article today from hindustan times saying that a majot virus has heen found on these two OS by some indian organisation responsible for checking security threats and hacks. Some users have been experiencing such problems like yours due to the virus. It is posing a major threat to security also.

Dont know what the real problem is . Even google chrome usrrs and firefox users have been alerted. It's mainly due to the VPN provided in the android systems. Check this link out.
