    Ok ok. i need to eat my words now. I never knew that it costs in the region of 45~50 k. Not worried about the .3 Ghz bump. SGS2 can be clocked to that frequency.

    Only thing which makes me drool is the screen. Its going to be a real eye candy stuff

      ya man..the pixel density is 2 times more than sgs2.. but heck 4.3 is enough for me man..cant even operate it with one hand sometimes.

      PS:am waiting for the official release of 2000mah samsung battery for gs2... it would come with a backplate too as the battery is 1.2mm thicker..

        Can you please elaborate? Even I am using S2 since a week and feel battery life is bit shorter compared to S which I was using earlier despite S2 having higher capacity battery.

          i am currently getting 1day 8 hours without gprs active and normal calls and messaging.But with gprs active and IM+ messaging + 4hour sync cycle of gmail an yahoo mail + normal usage gives me around 16 hours.

          now currently checked with just gprs active + 2 mail boxes and normal usage which gave me 22hours (IM+ is eating a lot)

            guys could u recommend a phone under 14000Rs,
            my requirements are primarily :

            1.big screen
            2.gaming (i am a colege student :P )
            3.android

            which phone will be good for me? i loved the samsung galaxy s ,but there were many variants of that which i dint understand....,could someone explain what i am looking for

                    I just bought Motorola Defy a week back for 14200 and yesterday a friend of mine got it for 13500.
                    I will highly recommend this phone.
                    Positives:
                    1.> Gorilla Glass(Scratch resistant, tested with knife, blade and scissors) and very good screen clarity
                    2.> Water resistant (Tested under running tap for 5 minutes and drowned it in bucket full of water)
                    3.> Shock proof
                    4.> Android 2.2
                    5.> 512 MB ram, 800 Mhz processor, 2 GB internal memory, good music quality, and pride of owning something different then the general crowd.

                    Negative
                    1.> Battery life not that good
                    2.> Hangs sometimes if 3-4 applications are running.
                    3.> No Molife covers/pouch available

                      On a personal opinion dont go for samsung with Android phones, I have taken galaxy i5510 3 months back and the newly launched S2 has similiar battery issues as the battery runs out in 8 hours after a full charge if you keep the 3G/GPRS on and make some calls for around 2-3 hours.

                      All of my friends have same experience but the same issue is not with the BADA OS.

                        at croma the defy costs 15990 and at alfa 15250...i have zeroed down on this phone, can u please tell me where i can get it for 13500Rs ?

                          well if you were in Delhi, then I could have helped you. But my suggestion: Don't purchase cell phones from any store like Croma, Spice, Reliance Digi etc,as in the open market the rate changes everyday and you get the phone as per the latest price whereas in stores like these, they don't update the price regularly.

                          here as well, croma is selling defy for 15999. Try outside and you might get 4GB card instead of 2 GB which comes in the box. Atleast i got it

                                Keep checking www.mysmartprice.com and don't go to big stores like Croma, Reliance Digital etc. as suggested above.
                                Here in Hyderabad, Technovision is the best price dealer. Though he quoted me about a 1000 more, I could bring it down by opening the same site&showing him!
                                All the best.

                                @GP_freak: I think that Galaxy Note is going to be overpriced. Don't get too interested by the 2500mAh battery-going by the 5.3" Super AMOLED Plus screen, I think it will end up giving the same backup as your S2.
                                My suggestion: Get a 3G netbook instead&save the money.
                                Quench my thirst with gasoline!
