@All: Thanks for your wonderful suggestions last time. I bought the LG Optimus Black P970&am completely satisfied with it.

This time, I'm planning to buy a tablet pc for my Mom as she is hooked on to games on my phone and we don't have a computer at home.
She would like to browse sites as well.

I'm looking for the following features, with a very modest price tag of Rs.8-10,000:

Capacitive touch, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 3000+mAh battery, dual cameras, in-built 3G (no dongle), Wi-Fi support preferable.

There are a slew of options and I was eliminating a few from the list as well, need your suggestions.

      1. Beetel Magiq-resistive touchscreen
      2. MTS 1055-no front cam
      3. Olivepad-front VGA, Froyo, Olivepad2 price?
      4. iBall-price 13K
      5. Spice Mi-720-Froyo, price 13K
      6. Mercury Mtab- Gingerbread OS, no rear cam, front 1.3mp
      7. Huawei S7 Slim Tablet-Froyo
      8. Viewsonic viewpad 7e no idea
      9. Reliance, Lenovo, Acer etc. ruled out due to price

      Please pour in your ideas!
We can discuss about 3G plans once the set is finalized.

      @thunderbird_m6, GP_freak: Awaiting your inputs!

+1. Me too! Exactly for the same reason . I also saw Zync Pad on ebay for 5K

My worry is if games like Angry Bird would lag and jerk on these cheap pads due to low specs? Games should run smoothly as that's the purpose of the pad.

you can go for mercury mtab,I am personally using it,it is very fast with 1.2 ghz,can play 1080p video at ease, motion sensor games are a boon for this low cost tab,I am playing Moto gp with sensor control...no lag..multi tasking is possible without any lag.Capacitive touch is very accurate & good..There is no in built 3g only wifi..And most of all it is only 9500 bucks....so cheap on your pocket too..
