I am able to carry it normally in my trouser pockets and also in jeans. It seems to be big but is really not when u try to put into your pocket and it easily settles there.Originally posted by GP_freak View PostKool dude.... Experience is awesome with Note. I'd been using SGS2 for last 5 months which is 4.3" , so carrying Note (which is 5.3") seems not much big deal though...You must be the change you wish to see in the world

I know you lost your S2 and have every reason to buy a note instead of S2. But since i am holding an S2 for last five and half months, i would really like to understand except for the screenand real estate, what is better in Note on a real day usage which is not in S2.Originally posted by thunderbird_m6 View PostI am able to carry it normally in my trouser pockets and also in jeans. I run my phone occasionally at 1.3 and 1.42 Ghz, else underclock it to 1 Ghz

2)somewhat better battery life(bigger battery 2400)
3)S pen
4)0.3Ghz power bump
5)tweaked interface
the shop guy asked me to py extra 10k in exchange for the note with my s2..
finally dropped the idea of getting one cause i realized am pretty much satisfied for now with s2.Its like my p220 is enough and theres no need to get a cbr250 paying extra 1lakh for getting something so little in return :PI RuLe Da HeAvEn, I RuLe Da heLL,I RuLe Da UnIvErSe, As HuMaNiTy FeLL

Hey, its .2 Ghz bump. Theroritically SGS 2 should be faster than note because it has less number of pixels to light up. Am also running my SGS 2 at 1.4 Ghz :-)Originally posted by satan69in View Post1)bigger screen

Also there is a Samsung original pack of back plate and 2000 mili amps battery and that will serve better than note.
But nothing can replace real estate....

Problem is that i cant find the damn 2000mah battery here in India..still waiting for it..i think note uses a pentile matrix display.... is it good?Originally posted by GP_freak View PostHey, its .2 Ghz bump. As a reasonably fat finger endowed guy, I disagree. Its terrible for one-handed usage (my motorola defy OTOH is just perfect - the largest one-handed device is the HTC Sensation).Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostI checked out the Note&was blown away by the screen-contrary to my thought, it is very pocketable&can also be used with one hand provided you have a big one!
Further, the supplied flap cover makes it even more cumbersome.
Its a brilliantly specced device and ideal for secondary data consumption but not as your only phone.
I have a colleague who owns the Dell Streak and he's constantly the butt of jokes for the size of his phone. Its a perfectly fun device otherwise.
Infact, I helped my own doctor return the Note in favor of the iPad2 + a phone (last I heard, he was split between the new BBs or the SGS2).
PS: Checking out the device excitedly at a store or for 5 mins is way differnt from using it 24x7 esp while multitasking such as walking, or dialing a favorite number while driving (don't even use anything else while on the road!!)
ofc, ymmv - so best of luck.Last edited by hitanshu; 12-19-2011, 03:54 AM.http://www.bikenomads.com/wiki/index.php/Leh - All you ever need to know about getting Leh'd.

I believe you are talking only about the fingers here
Jokes apart, you are right, it will be awesome inside home, but not when u are walking or riding a bike.
