You mean the Videocon Ducati 6200? Is it still available? Last time I checked, it was discontinued, right?Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostBuy the Ducati phone if GPS is all you care for.

@ Above All: Xenon flash can never be used for Videos, no matter which phone or camera. That's because it stores the power before flashing it, or something... And while mentioning TV Out, do you know that N8 can TV Out using HDMI port at 1280 x 720 pixels (HD)? And it can do the regular TV out too. This is what I meant by "2 TV Out's".
But the large lens (1/1.83 inches) of the N8 is the main thing. Somehow I feel C7 should be cheaper than 16k.

@ ashwinprakash: If you want more cheaper phones with GPS and Operating systems for GPS software, then please check out:
Sony Ericsson: W8, X8, Xperia X10 Mini, etc.
Samsung: Galaxy Pocket S5300, Galaxy Mini S5570, Galaxy 3,
LG: Optimus one P500,
Acer: Liquid,
I guess you should find your best setup within these phones. I can't comment on the GPS reception of these phones, because I haven't used them. But, the N8 has superb GPS reception and the whole package in the midrange price. You can get it second hand too...---

This is some mis-conception brother that has been discussed before.Originally posted by saipranav View PostDude, all these phones have A-GPS which are not really good when compared to actual GPS which is in Videocon v6200 (Ducati Phone)

A-GPS is the proper GPS assisted with internet, only! It includes the GPS component, which just uses internet to Lock on faster.
My N8 has A-GPS, and I can lock on to Satellites without using internet AT ALL. I can measure travelling speeds too, which is impossible to be received from internet only.---

+1 AGPS is only used to get a faster lock than by just using GPS (which can sometimes take upto 4-5 minutes of stationary time on a cold start). With AGPS, you can even get a partial location indoors, which is not possible with Pure GPS.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostThis is some mis-conception brother that has been discussed before.

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Sometimes, when im on my terrace, it shows me a couple of kilometers away. Anyways, thanks for the correction.Originally posted by antz.bin View Post+1 AGPS is only used to get a faster lock than by just using GPS (which can sometimes take upto 4-5 minutes of stationary time on a cold start). It could be the quality and performance of the GPS chipset (the chipset that connects with the GPS satellites).Originally posted by saipranav View PostThanks for correcting me, but i started using A-GPS on my Optimus Net, just from a month back, and the results have not been very satisfactory. For example, 6210 Navigator was one of the best phones when it comes to GPS performance. My N8 is at a good level when it comes to GPS performance. And both these phones have A-GPS with good GPS chipsets.
Also, maybe LG phones do have a separate system to turn GPS on like Techfreak says,

Guys...i need some help here!
been searching for a smartphone since a while. Budget is around 20k.
Had filtered my search a lot and finally was left with 2 phones namely Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola Atrix 2.
Was gonna get the nexus from US, but that is not possible now because my friend delayed his trip to India. So i am left with the atrix 2...very skeptical about moto though!
Any atrix 2 users here? The phone looks promising on paper...but want to keep my options open!
Any suggestions?Inline-4 Stomach.
