Good to see xBhp back although it was a shocking revelation that the database suffered a setback. It is a serious loss to xBhp. xBhp was the fully loaded treasure box for the bikers. But, never mind. We will get xBhp soon to the level it was. Although the loss is irreparable but still we will give our best shot to restore it's original charm. Oh yeah..and I lost my job ...just kidding .

On the 22nd of August, my birthday. early in the morning as i do every single morning woke up and rite to the computer to find that the xbhp is not working, so dumb that i did the whole internet related troubleshooting before realizing there are other websites aswell...

Any ways lets put every thing on the side and start working again towards the same old xbhp that we knew in the recent past.

thanks a lot every one for so much of love that you and we have received with the XBHP

BIG LOSS but atleast we are back, and as long as we are here no BIG LOSS is BIG enough

Its good to be back... I thought it was a server upgrade as well as application too. When i read the main page, i was SHOCKED!!

Had no idea what happened until I landed back home 2 hours ago. First reaction.. all that hard work, writeups, triplogs, all that's vanished. That loss is incalculable.

It's very disheartening to see years of hard work gone down the drain. As one of the old timers on this board, xbhp has been a constant part of my life and I have gained so many wonderful friends right here.

@Sunny: I got nothing but admiration for you bro. Good job on rebuilding the site. We're back with a vengeance and lots of axes to grind. But like they say, the best revenge is to live well. Let me know if I can help out in any way and I'd be proud to.

I wasn't aware until yesterday that xBhp's server was hacked. I was under the impression that xhp was getting a facelift (and it has). When I read Sunny's write-up in the home page I was shocked. Let's take this as a learning.

Btw, a hearty welcome to all my fellow xBhpians.

MAN, Thank GOD XBHP is back. I was totally depressed without it. I was just yesterday thinking about writing to Sunny about it. About the people who did such a thing deserved to be KICKED RIGHT UNDER THEIR BA***. Anyway THE SHOW MUST GO ON, Sorry for all of us to have lost so much precious DATA. WE MUST COME BACK WITH A BANG, & WE WILL.

                    Good to be back

Feels so good to be back, also it feels kinda weird to find names usually associated with huge post counts with so little now.

I am sure whatever happened for the good, this is a fresh start and I think XBhp shall rise like the phoenix, much much stronger.

All the best for the restoration job.

I am experiencing mixed feelings to tell the truth..

First of all I am glad that xBhp is back on line.During this one month It was almost like I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms (Yes you may say I am addicted to xBhp..ever since I first logged in way back in early '05).

On the other hand, I was aghast and shocked when I read that so much data had been lost. This site is a veritable treasure-trove of information and almost my entire knowledge on bikes-Indian and foreign is attributed to xBhp. Be it insightful technical articles, riding tips, scoops/first impressions, stories on road trips, road tests, long term ownership experiences and basically anything and everything related to bikes - of every kind - from the humble splendor to the mighty Hayabusa...

Seriously No blog/site/forum even comes close..

Anyway I hope with this new beginning, xBhp comes out bigger, better and more popular than ever...

                        Cheers
