Just be aware while making such digital purchases..
Memory cards for mobiles, camera, etc. are also being faked these days; that is another digital equipment that we should be extra cautious about while purchasing.

    Fake Kingston 32GB pen drive

    Hello People,

Just yesterday my friend (Marketing manager) called me (senior software engineer) up, asking me how are kingstons pendrives. I said, they are pretty good & are reputed company. He said theres a guy come to his office who has bunch of Kingston's 32GB pen drive.. Indeed he has flicked a carton or so from somewhere & wants to sell ASAP. My friend & his coleagues has convinced him to sell it for 400 bucks (he was demanding 600) as they wanted to purchase 6. Hearing this it was mouth watering to me as well, & insisted him to get one for me also. Finally they ended up getting 7 pen drives for 400 each.
I was extremely happy & was dying to get in the hand & try copying the massive data. My pal gave me in the evening & I handed him the money, rushed home.. Inserted the pd in my lappy & immediately checked the disk space from its properties.. I was flabbergasted to see the free space as 31.8 GB.. Quickly i copied a file of almost 2.5 GB & the speed seen was extremely good & was impressed. The moment my file got copied I called up my friend to acknowledge him, that this PD is absolutely fine & we have got an amazing deal for a price of peanut. In night I slept thinking what all massive stuff I have to get from my office. Next day in my office I reached, copied chunk of data from office computer & took off the drive. In evening realised to copy somemore & again inserted it & to my suprise some folders where empty which I was sure it had 100's of files inside. Tried opening zip files, it prompted me "Headers Corrupted" for some, file corrupted, & many more not seen errors for different kinda files.
I was shocked, immediately googled & checked on net, to my surprise I saw tons of people there been betrayed for exactly similar pen drives & their articles, blogs, where on net floating around for answers, awareness,.. etc.. basically expressing the frustration which I could feel now.. THis is was just too bad man..! Not for the money but to find how cleverly I & my friends have been cheated. This fellows which we assume are dumb, but actually we are.. They have sharpen up their brains now.. Just imagine what a person would think if he/she finds such sticks for 10x less price.. Am sure ny fellow will instantly jump to buy. A simple measure to ensure if this is not fake, we would take is to check its space, copy little data, delete, etc..! Thats what I did..
This chaps are really smart man.. Just after a little technical research after googling about the cause for this. Basically this or any drives have a microcontroller into it which contains certain info such as the Make Name, size & this is sent to the computer when plugged in. Just the computer displays the messages received. This is where this junkies techies play around.. Faking the microcontrollers .. Sending fake messages to the computer.. Displaying the memory sectors which are infact non-existent.
After playing around with it I discovered I own a 1GB(approx) expensive pen drive

Following are some links which you will people belonging to similar club of mine..
KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE Complaints - ITS A FAKE PEN DRIVE.
Kingston 32 GB Pen Drive FAKE???
Kingston 32 GB Data Traveller -FAKES AVAILABLE !!!-BEWARE - Storage Solutions - TechEnclave

Some solution to atleast make it usable:
    THE FAKE 32 GB's

People, please be aware of such fake stuff available on the market.. Please dont get carried with the mouth watering price, which may lead into a huge disappointment latter.. Always make sure the place from where you getting is genuine..

Getting myself an Asus Xonar DX in a day or two. Got fed up of my Creative Audigy Value. It's crackling and popping like hell since the day I moved to a new mobo and processor.

2)DONT go for asus their after sales service sucks.GIGABYTE r priced very expensive in india.but they r monster overclockers.and last much longer.

3)we invest lot of MOOLAH on the hardware and miss giving importance to the most important thing in ur cpu---POWER SUPPLY.U cut corners here
u will be saying goodbye to all the expensive parts
soon.allot 10% of ur pc cost to power supply.thats the RULE.

I assembled my 1st pc myself after doing a lot of research on net.do the same.if an accounting stdnt can do it everyone can.

    MY config:
    E2180 @3.1GHZ(STOCK COOLING)
    1 X1GB
    1X2GB @1000MHZ.
    CORSAIR 450VX.
    MSI 4850(OVERCLOCKED).

    SAMSUNG 22X DVD .
    ALTEC LANSING 2.1 SPEAKER.

AND happy gaming...err whatever that u do with the comp.
I agree with nightwing here, coz i've seen the difference in Transcend Powerchip RAM(which i replaced) and Corsair or for tht matter OCZ(my current), I completely agree with your second and third point but my friend has already bought PSU (Coolermaster 650w) and above mentioned 25k was only for Proccy+MB+Ram.
BTW Nice config, i've a sapphire 4850 too and they rock in details.

    Absolutely.

You missed out the graphics hardware in your spec listing? Or maybe I missed it.

I am an AMD fan and am guessing that 25k is for Proccy+Mobo+RAM only and doesnt include a Graphic Card and PSU,so here goes:
    Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 920 2.8GHz Rs.11556/-
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5 Rs 11726/-
RAM:OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB DDR2 1066Mhz Rs Around 4k. Get it from the USA through KMD from techenclave.
    Here's the link:Newegg.com - OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
