Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
Its not about the 'likes' not being visible..Its the number in the notifications tab annoying. It doesnt vanish and the keeps getting accumulated for every like given by someone.Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostThere's just one small problem. Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
Its not about literally getting the Like, it doesn't matter to me in any ways. Its about whether my post helped or not. No one would like to go back to tbe thread again and again to cross check.Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostThere's just one small problem. Another point as mentioned, the numbers keep on increasing which after some time was irritating. When its not in use, either rectify it or remove it.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
that's a bit too angsty IMO. running a forum is a thankless job. it's not the mod's paying job (do correct me if I am wrong) and they do it out of interest of bikes & bikers.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostYeah, same upgrade that made them come back to the old one. And what happened after that? Neither that "upgrade" was rectified nor the current one's problems were solved
let's be thankful..
in any case, I wanted to point out the like notification thing, only to find I am in the same boat with everybody. not that it's terribly important but just that the mods should know.

Issues with Likes received not showing on XBHP
Dear all,
This post is not a bike help post. I am actually having issues with the Forum itself and I believe others have had similar problem.. Especially after the switch to Vbulliten 5 and then back to VBulliten 4.
The Issue is that I am not able to see the Likes I have received. My 'Notifications' tab says I have 17 new likes. I click on it and It shows me is 08-07-2015, 10:01 AM. Which was just before the Vbulliten 5 jump. Now I can neither see those 17 new likes nor can I get rid of the 'Notifications' It just keeps n piling up the number as i receive likes.
If any other members have had the Issue , Kindly second this post in trailing comments and lets try to get some help from the Moderators. Thanks in advance !
Thanks All

Dear Mods,
My notifications are not getting cleared & old notifications are showing.
New notification numbers are increasing but they are not showing new one.

Vishal.Chill, they dont think its necessary to listen to these "suggestions" anymore. If you have checked last pages, this issue is there for long time now, but I guess if a SBK owner points this out they would pay some attentionOriginally posted by vikas007sharma View PostDear Mods........... new one.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Looks like SBK owners are not using xBHP then.
That's why they don't face this issue.

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
okay guys,
First of all, apologies for not being proactive in replying to this thread! We could've done better.
Coming back to the point, the likes/notification feature was included into xBhp using a plugin and is not an inherent feature of vBulletin. Now, when we shifted back to VB4 from VB5, the plugin refused to work properly. We tried tweaking things here and there, but in vain.
Removing this plugin altogether is easy, but we've kept that as last resort and we're gonna give it one last try before giving up. As you might have already noticed, we've not sit idle even after coming back to VB4, the updates are constantly coming and it is a long, very long process. For example, the upgraded home page which is mobile friendly. A new upgrade will be rolling out by this weekend and this will make the forum more mobile friendly. People logging in from mobile phones will be getting a more streamlined mobile-friendly theme.
Please have some faith and give us some more time. We're hopeful that we'll be able to fix this issue.
Regards

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
In my "day rides" post in the tourer section, attached pictures are not displaying after the new website upgrade. Also, one cannot zoom or scrunch the page like earlier which I used to on my tablet. Request your team to fix these issues at the earliest.Ride To Live
