Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
While its true that using the site from a desktop works as the layout is unchanged. However, it is on my tablet using Android 4.2 that the issues are faced. Further, when using the site from the desktop (windows 7) and in the manage attachments section I am able to upload a picture, but when I press the "done" button it is unresponsive (nothing happens, nothing registers). Kindly fix.Ride To Live

We are fixing the mobile/ tablet version of the website. We will update as soon as it gets done.
Regarding the desktop, i am currently posting from Windows 7 chrome, and photos are getting uploaded for not just me but all members without a problem. Could you please try from another browser on your desktop.
Thanks

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
Thanks for your suggestions and help. I managed to upload the pictures using Internet Explorer (IE) which worked fine. Though my preferred browser is Opera, I can live with this. The tablet issues remain as the website layout is new with some features missing like uploading pictures. I hope this will also be fixed in time to come. Keep up the good work!Originally posted by The Monk View Post8

Guys, thanks for pointing it out! We are already aware of it and it is not just us who is facing this issue, people across the world who are on vbulletin 4.x are facing the same. It originated with an update in Chrome because of which the text editor on vB4x is behaving this way. vBulletin tech support has simply refused to fix this as the vB4 is not their current product.
The only way to fix this is to either move to vB5, which we did but didn't like it as we faced a lot of other serious issues with it. There are other 'fixes' that can be used.
1. Use some other broswer like firefox.
2. Go to your profile>settings>general settings...change the editor to 'standard' editor from 'WYSIWYG' editor. This should reduce some of your text editing options, but all the essential editing options would be there. Check the screenshot!

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
Giving links from discussion threads of reviews and news back to main article helps in google search SEO. Posting link from any one comment of first page of every thread back to the main review or news page helps pagerank, and lifts them up in the search rankings. The review link can be added from first pages of both review discussion thread and motorcycle ownership thread. Link can be added in already existing old threads too by editing posts, as google caches same pages every 6 months or so, either forummers or moderates can do that.

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
I've uploaded a travelogue. I published it. But now I can't track if it has been approved or the status of it. In fact, I can't see it listed anywhere on my account. How does one know if his travelogue is in line for approval or any update on its status.
Thanks in advance.

I uploaded it this evening. I read that it takes about 1 or 2 days to get approved. Just wanted to know if there's any provision where I can see the status.Originally posted by revvharder View PostWhen did you uploaded the thread, it takes 1 to 2 days to get your thread approved by mods.

Re: The new xBhp: Suggestions and Improvements Thread
There's no fixed timeline for the approval process. It may get approved instantly (mostly after reading through) or may take a couple of days in the wait for mods to get free.Originally posted by easy rider View PostI uploaded it this evening. Your thread is out in the open though.
