strange ! back here these people didnt have the appropriate tools for some work with the timing chain and realized it after they had opened the engine !!
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

I thought the problem is only with ZMR !!
In Bangalore the spares for ZMR are hard to source but not for ZMA/ZMA-R. (Except few rarely required parts like speedometers etc)

Ohhhh........But my friends here with ZMA-R is always bothered about spares. One man about whom I have already mentioned earlier is still waiting for a handle weight balance.Heard from TVM xbhpians that another man is waiting for yellow fairing for more than 2 months.......There may be city/ regional specific problems in case of ZMA-R. But for ZMR its the same all over the country. And they haven't the minimum decency to inform us the status of spares..

BTWtoday was the promised last day to provide the spares. But no news from the other end till this second.
started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

I had to travel 100 kms to get a crashbar. Now these service centre people have broken my battery and air filter panel, they say they have placed order before an month and still it hasnt arrived.Seriously HH need to do something or else it will be loosing customers.I have already decided not to go for HH bike anymore.I can find spares for pulsars everywhere but not for my bike

finally a thread up on this topic. in chennai getting spares for a Zma/Zmr is a pain.

on my trip to leh the day my bike was to be loaded the rear brake rod was bent and when I took it to the service station - no spares, same problem with rear nut and axle. the bar weights were not available, rear brake cam was not available - bought the bike 2 years ago and did not face issues with spares for the first 2 years as I did not have t change anything but now seriously thinking about switching.

I wanted to get my fairing replaced and was informed the waiting period was 6 months and 4 moths for the disk pads(hero honda wants me to ride without disks).

me using the RTR pads and am very satisfied. sad thing is this is for a bike which is in production and has been for 7 years. hero honda sucks when it comes to this factor and I am not sure how they are going to manage this problem.

One should know the right contacts to acquire parts for a ZMA..! Coz I get the parts as and when required

Mine is an older model, for which acquiring the parts is a pain as compared to the new ZMA-R..but, still somehow I'm able to source the parts..

ZMR parts availability sucks, at least in Pune!

I had ordered few parts like right upper body cowl (white ZMR) on 21 Aug. The person told me the parts will come in 8-10 days. I am still waiting. I don't understand what Hero Honda is doing...

Guys you are all some what better off.
My case is that I have taken delivery of the bike on March 18th and has been given a part replacment memo along with delivery as there is little damage in the left side cover it will be 6months exactly for tomorrow and I have completed 3 services every time I call the showroom the answer is
"Sir, we will call you as soon as we get the part"
And to mention the most funny thing even I forgot that there is a part to be replaced on my bike.. I have been reading through this thread from the day it is up and only now this issue flashed in my memory.

@ praveen: nice initiative dude hope HH takes some action atleast after going through all the poor customers grievances..

We still know how you re managing the things. It was better if you have shared.
But the whole posts suggests that these people re careless towards us.
I visited the SVC yesterday and asked about the status. They ve shown me the status of the most of the spares are PARTIALLY PROCESSED means NOT PROCESSED. And they told me that these bookings re made under EMERGENCY. The regional service manager who called me on 3rd had assured me a maximum of ten days and it is still not processed. See how useless the officials are...

I booked right side front indicator assembly 2 months back as the indicator cover was broken. Took me almost a month to get it replaced.

And today I ordered around 15 parts for my ZMR as it met with an accident. The manager quoted 1 week for the parts to arrive. This time if I get a poor response from HH service, then this is my last HH bike.
From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

I am still wondering that this company is supporting their mid range in a better way and not caring the premium range...........How can a company do so?
Some people in the SVC has the attitude that ZMR is a new model and these much spare requisite is nt expected. If its the case of fairings and indicators........what ll be if we need something like a piston or crank
                              .............I cant imagine...........
