It's a normal straight split pipe, with a polished shrouds around the coffee cans, anyhow it sounds horrible, i wonder why anyone would go all the way and get a GSX tail, SBK wheels and brakes for their pulsars and increase it's weight. Total show absolutely no go, but the quality of work is good since it's Thailand/Malaysia

This is My 4 yrs old unicorn. I have made some modification on it..
1.Colour (Old Colour was stock bule)
              2.Handel Bar (From Pulsar)
              3. Allow (From New Unicorn)
              4. Rear Tyre (dunlop Geo-Cusire 100/90)
              5. New Stiker(On The Tank)
6.Main Stand(Because Prev. Ver was faulty)
7.Buffing Some parts like Hand Brake Lever and Cluch Lever.

It has done 28,000 km till date.

hi,which pulsar's handle have you fixed in your unicorn. When I asked a workshop-wala about fitting a pulsar 200 or 220 handle to be fitted,he said that if you fit those handles, then the bike's overall handl;ing will be lost and the main thing is that as the petrol tank is huge and since the pulsar's handle is short,it will crash with the tank.need your advice.

                  • @ Torque 24

You will get a ground clearance with some mods to the way you adjust the height of the Mono. While converting a Pulsar to mono, add a 3 inch extra height to the swing arm where the mono clips on to the swing arm

you can refer to the pics in my album on how it looks with the mono.... i can help you get it done if you reside in mumbai. if the shocks are not fitted well, you could be putting your life at risk

Sorry to say friend, The job on your bike is not neat enough. Check the snaps of a Uni modified by me for a friend -

The problem lies in increasing the height by welding an extra inch by cutting the mono. it might break under stress somewhere down the line. you could have actually welded an inch or two in the bracket on the swing arm, that would have been more sturdy and reliable. Please see some snaps attached of the Uni moddified by me. The rear end height on the Uni is upped by 4 inches & in a very very sure n safe manner

Hey man... thanks for the reply.... but what i was asking is about the dual shocks and not the mono... are you advising me to fix up a mono instead of the stock?... as far as i know a guy from GP road said that by fitting another solid iron thing with the lower end of the stock shocks.. it will increase the height by 3 inches... is it worth it and will there be a considrable increase in height... and i also travel with pillion some time... so advice on safety too...

                            thanks

No offense, but raising the rear ride height in such extreme fashion is a surefire way to screw up the bike's handling for good.
