I never knew it made so much of a difference..Originally posted by abhimanyu31 View PostThose brakes are a case of overkill... a much better option would be to change your brakelines with steel braided breaklines... these brakelines really transform the stock brakes giving superb stopping power and great feedback... and the best part is that you will not have to spend 20k...
Where can I get these?PM me for Daytona Racing ECU for the R15

@ sharingan
Do any amount of modds to your bike right from the engine to exhaust, But never ever try to modify the brakes, coz there are chances of surviving if we are wrong with any of our mods other than the brakes. Always go for the stock and thats why I was looking for something over 20K.

The stock brakes on the R15 have really good potential and can take a lot more power hike without any brake fade issues. Now lets not disrupt the topic of discussion.sigpic

nice going joel,
this is the 1st ECU for r15 i think.
wonder how much HP does a big bore+head+exhaust+filter+cam+ECU r15 produce.mind sharing?
also, considering the cut off with this ECU is 12k,does the top speed of the bike increase??BULL ON A RAMPAGE

Such a package should produce around 6hp more than stock.Originally posted by gbsaint View Postnice going joel,

Meghan got the ecu as well? Damn I've been living under a rock since I left FBOriginally posted by Joel View PostSuch a package should produce around 6hp more than stock.

And that 6bhp is more than 35% increase in power from stock, would this be enough to put up a fight against a stock ninja?

^Power to weight ratio wise, it should beat a stock ninja with a hot street setup. And all at the same time costing just half of a stock Ninja.sigpic

Joel, Thats music to ears, I am still curious about Handling, R15 weighs only about 125kgs will it be able efficiently handle >23hp?????Originally posted by Joel View Post^Power to weight ratio wise, it should beat a stock ninja with a hot street setup. Coz the well known example is the Pulsar 135 which is a nightmare at higher rpms due to its power to weight ratio.

^well, our Race R15 makes over a humble 30bhp and weighs under 100kilos and has set the fastest laptime in the country for an Indian bike. Still retains the stock mainframe and most stock dynamics. Clocks nearly over a true 150kph inside the track in a 500mtrs straight.
A motogp 125cc bike weighs 72 kilos dry and makes 55hp and clocks a top-speed of 245kph. How do you defy that?
Dont compare a bajaj to an R15. Thats a lemon and apple comparo my friend.sigpic

I don't update FB as much. Nor do I know the exact % in gains. The gains can only be fully understood with a ride on the bike.Originally posted by Parth View PostMeghan got the ecu as well? Damn I've been living under a rock since I left FB

I've got the Race Concepts ECU and it's totally worth it. It's a very crucial part of my setup now, without which the bike is incomplete.
I will redo my thread soon and clear of all the clatter, making it more concise and readable.Last edited by KwokFist; 03-17-2011, 01:18 PM.--------------------------------
