        Just a question Joel sir,
Does the ECU run closed-loop(whether it has O2 sensor or not)???
If stock bike doesnt have a sensor,is it possible to run the ECU in closed-loop by adding external O2 sensor??

This is an all new system and has nothing to do with the stock ECU. It will replace the full stock ECU and is a full standalone system.
I have very clearly mentioned that there will be gains in power when you upgrade to this ECU even on a full stock R15. The higher rev-limit and aggressive mapping is what gives this an unbeatable performance edge.

This is not a closed loop system, it works in accordance with the same open loop system of the standard R15. Open loop system is what is favourable for racing and for production to keep costs low. Since we will provide downloadable maps, you can play with the fueling based on what you need. So closed loop is not required.
For racing, only open loop is desired to get the best performance at that point of time.

A lot of time and effort and money has gone into the development for the betterment of the community.
while the Yamaha Daytona ECU costs ~17k with a mere high rev-limit and no gains in power, this package provides additional features, future compatability to cope with mods, reliability and performance etc, is literally to be priced at half the cost of the Yamaha ECU. Well, I truly believe in offering value for money performance and always beat the efforts of big giants. Right from my racing assignments to street tune, this pedigree remains unchanged. So I guess this is the best we could put together through our developments since the last 2 years.
The same ECU in a proto form is what propelled my purpose built, national championship group B R15 to be crowned the fastest indian race bike around the Indian circuit track ever and the 2010 champion. Ahead of all the factory efforts.
This is testimony enough of the capability of the product.
Now lets have some street fun .

It will be an outright purchase. You can remove the stock ecu and retain it. Atleast that's what I will be doing in the due course of time. Stock Ecu cant be upgraded. This is a different ECU that will need to be fit into the bike.

I dont think the word "standalone" is too complicated, or is it? It clearly means that it will replace your stock ECU. You can retain your stock box and just slip this onto your harness.

^^ i dint mean that this performance ecu has to run in parallel with the existing ECU. All i wanted to know was from a price perspective, that if we are swapping the ECUs ( sending you the stock one, and getting this, will it be cheaper, or just buy this outright ).

                          thats a simple query right?

Like I said earlier, its an all new standalone ECU and completely replaces your existing stock ECU. No exchange or upgrade program with your factory stock ECU.
What will i do with the stock ECU? I have plenty dusting away with me itself. I could sell them back to Yamaha itself .
From the pricing perspective, your stock MORIC Japan spec (Latest R15's come with Indian made DENSO and has a retarded curve) ECU costs around 8k. Our peformance ECU will cost almost the same. Consider the additional features, performance, upgrade possibilities and value for money. In contrast, your daytona ECU costs 17k with absolutely no compatability to tune, upgrade and cope with radical mods.

Joel... why on earth would Yamaha do something like that ?
