The exhaust will give a slightly better gain. The ECU will compliment the set-up further by making the whole package crisp. The exhaust and airfilter combo gives you a strong pulse. The ECU is like an icing on the cake. Next level after the hardware changes to the engine.

Thank you Joel ! So just the ECU+Filter combo wont give much difference to a stock bike ? , i.e you wouldn't recommend the ecu to a stock bike?

I have placed an order for the Simoto air-filter. Will get the Big bore and the ECU together. Don't want the exhaust, as of now. I know the exhaust will compliment the big bore and ECU really well, but I dont want the external looks of the bike to change due to certain personal reasons
              D'oh!

Understand your point completely. I'm in a similar dilemma but even with the 165 kit the exhaust does "feel" restrictive. As if it's tugging the bike by its shirt just a bit to irritate you

Joel sir, is the 176cc big bore also available for street spec? I mean can the R15 owners purchase 176cc big bore from you?

The exhaust looks like a midship muffler (infact it is one) and sounds glorious... I should know as I have one... it really grows on you...

The 176cc is my custom block for my R15 only for now. Will announce when more oversize options are tested by me. My R15 is the test mule for all my developments, be it racing or street tune.

                        I wonder what's the maximum displacement a R15's engine can accomodate :-)
As you said your steed is the test mule, do you purchase a separate block piston kit to test each oversize bore?

Dont ask how many parts and money I have spent into all this. I have tons of blocks around me. Performance development is not easy. You cant eve imagine, so lets leave it. Indians will never understand the depth of performance tuning.

Instead of wasting money on R15, simply upgrade the bike.... thats what i have done!

Where is the challenge in that??? Go to any show room, put down the money and walk out with the machine. Hotrodders are a different breed, it is difficult for most people to understand why they do what they do. Its an obsession. The challenge lies in taking a machine and making it better, stronger and faster.
