Ya i know same with mine too what i do is clean it out with petrol and then park it in the sun for a while..Its because of the bad weather or may be washing the bike to much ...I sent Joel a mail regarding the rust so when he gets back to me i will let you know what can be done...I noticed last nite while riding back from work that flames was shooting out of ma bike...Man that was scary....Any ways nxt weekend am racing the bike with a pulsar 180cc will let you know how she performs...

Flames ehh....wow...you have become the fast and furious FZ boy...

Ok jokes apart...i see you are the only one with both the big bore and the FFE...so how was the power increase from only big bore to BB+FFE...

I mean, did you FEEL much increase in power or just that your bike was more responsive???

        cheers...

The bike has more power now after Joel has installed the FFE on the bike...To me the power is crazy few ppl i know have ridden the bike and felt alot of difference..My brother owns a FZ stock and when he took ma bike for a ride he was shocked to feel so much power that bike was giving..I have noticed that the bike lift on the 1st and 2nd gear very easy now and holds it was not like before i had to lift or pull the bike to do a wheelie..To feel the power on the bike one must ride it to experience it by them self...If you know what i mean...

This is the reason i am holding back myself from a loong time.

Rusting is not all acceptable..agreed that it gives a power bump but then it should come with peace of mind also which it fails to deliver.

Either the raw material be used should be changed to something like Stainless Steel or Carbon Fiber..even if it costs 1-2k extra..else it something should be done to rectify the rusting problem

Not possible. The Joel's FFE is made of single layer, unlike the stock which has multiple to take care of the heat generated. Even if you paint it, it would peel off.

Very nice Will check it out the next time Im in town. Was surprised to hear of the rusting and additional work that you had to do to get around some of the design issues. Alls well that ends well.

Could you explain how to do it?

We have tried our best to build the best possible with mild steel.
We are planning to introduce stainless steel, but will come at a small premium due to the cost involved in making it. The joints need a silver paint touch to help it from spreading further. The chrome in itself, is well done. The joints need a touch up of silver paint which unfortunately we could not do in this first batch of the FZ pipes and I personally apologize on this. The next batch is being made and all these are addressed.
