Is there an option to get it done on a new block too ? because I saw pics of the BB kit posted by @shv18 sometime back and it seemed like it can be done on a new block too ...

Yep you can get a new block too.i think tht will be ready in some time.

Haven't tested yet,my Bike seems to have had its crank lose.Have to check on that.

Hey do keep us posted about the progress. i am more keen to know the overall report in terms of difference felt in power, how she behaves now on highway rides compared to stock, if possible acceleration and top end figures... although FE is the last thing that comes to my mind but ofcourse in terms of touring makes sense.... one more thing... how does one clean Simota air filter??
is it difficult to access it since i presume you no longer use the stock air filter box... probably better for using it is storage space...

@nand15 - I guess you have no idea of what we do. The cylinder head is modified to improve the flow efficiency and thereby improve the combustion process. When you improve the cylinder head design, vibes drop as the ports flow more efficiently.

@Ranjith - I'm only susprised how the crank can develop a play in such a short span. 20k is low. But then, I have seen some engines fail at even 10k kms. Its like piston rings, a well maintained rings can last for 1 lakh kms, but a bad one will fail in 2k kms as well. Put back a new one and then slap back the entire kit.
Make sure, you are using new gaskets.
