Absolutely Agree .. many times i thank that we have only till 250CC bikes with less power on roads .. imagining that a 150+BHP R1/Hyabusa riding recklessly on our roads sends me heart attack

Looking at the past Avenger always got the best heart from the pulsar series. So is there a possibility of transplanting heart of P200NS on to Avenger?

I agree with your statement. We need a lot of stringency in our licensing norms to ensure that we can survive with the upgrade in technology.

We have instances where even better infrastructure results in undesirable incidents due to lack of discipline and training. The Mumbai - Pune Expressway is a prime example; with a prescribed speed limit of 80 km/hr (pessimistic as usual), you can find Beemers, Mercs, Audis, Hondas and even Sumos trying to better their individual speed records. Lack of a penalizing authority only causes more indiscipline.

^^^ Lol Nagoo, hilarious post. I'd this thought for sometime that, when the entire world keeps going on increasing cylinders, camshaft & valves, BAL's R&D keeps increasing the number of spark plugs.

My worries are more on the combination of powerful bike + affordable pricing + undisciplined riders

Anyway, nothing bad if it yields good result. I asked a question to the people who attended the session as how the triple sparks help, but looks like no one knows or they haven't read the question.

imagine inline 4 with 12 spark plugs
The higher cc engines will be from KTM. Most probably from 350 Duke and 690 Duke.

The present Pulsars from 150 to 220 all have the same body except different engines [and some minor parts]. That is typical Bajaj. They have to justify saving costs on the same platform.

Nah, there are booking done before I called. One of my friend also said, in his area more than 3 people booked it.

I think it's not official. Now taking the bookings and make it official after starting March month.

Dman, it's not current pulsar. I repeatedly asked that whether its new pulsar launched past monday. And also they said, the bike will arrive on April. So that's what Mr. RB said, bookings in March and Sales in April..!

Anyway am going to the showroom 4 booking. Ask more when gone. Wait.
anyway i am not gonna let my bro exchange the old caliber 115 for the 200NS as i am much more excitedly waiting for the fairing version with projectors as i am hoping the faired version to be a little more focused and little more highway friendly with an elevated top end close to the current 220F or slightly more and also with added goodies like soft compound rubber, braided steel brake hoses similar to the 220 and also more or less with the same riding position (though a very slightly more crouched position is also always a welcome) and also if it comes with only a slightly more bumped up price tag from the 200NS model...
ps. thanx for the valuable info dude...
