When asked about the price, she said "1 lakh".

So seniors & bro's, one question.

If I booked one and gave 5,000 booking cash and when the actual price is over 1 lakh, ( am expecting in 85-90 range) can i cancel the booking and will they return the cash?
hey there buddy do you mean sitaram bajaj at thissur...the guys there are less aware of what is really happening at the company (bajaj).hehe... so don't believe them completely so soon better wait for a couple of weeks...my brother is also very much interested in changing our old war horse caliber 115 to the new p200ns. I on the other hand is against it.

IMO they keep some percentage of booking amount and refund the rest.

+1. I read that thread last month and all I could think of was that these guys are sitting on the bike wrong! Although I didn't post this there, Maybe I ll do it now.

Edit: I just replied on that thread

New age of Indian design scarifies the practicality to look.
Here is the link of discussion of uncomfortable bike seat, origin-ed by the radical design approach.
Most uncomfortable seats - Indian motorcycles - Team-BHP

Just look at pillion rider of new R15, u cant do anything but laugh at him.
Many of the post refers to the fact that, they cant sit fixed on seat, and often start rely on tank within some minutes of riding.

My point was based on the second category.

With the new Pulsar 200NS, posers will extremely happy.

@nitrsatya: Got your point. May be I got you wrong. I thought, you are taking exclusivity as posergiri. My bad...
@speedaholica: It's gonna happen with every different-in-the-class bike. Be prepared for that. You see what bike's inner gives you. Pozzers will see how bike's exterior showcases them...

Love ur Bike; She will Love u back!!!

Hi, dis is Shibadip, 4m Kol.
I had a pulsar150cc 2.5yrs back which got stolen. Till nw hav'nt bought anything new.
Am planing 4 200ns. altough d bike looks good nd aggressive, but i somehow am not a fan of naked bikes.
do u think a full fairing can b attached to it aftr d warnty priod!! ( also heard dat full fairing nxt gen pulsar might b availble later dis yr, but cannot wait dat long)
also am plaming to book it on 1st instance only. i am a bajaj fan, but will it b risky bookin d byk bfore loking at some of ownership reviews??

Also can u pls throw me some light on another thing...
If BAL r gng to launch a full faired/half-faired version, i guess dey will b using the same frame as of 200NS. So can d same fairing b attached to 200NS without much of niggles?? The only problem I see is d Hunk like protruding tank of NS. However i once saw a hunk modified with a R15 v1.0 fairing at kolkata, although it did'nt look dat good.

P.S.- I am also against any modification on bikes, as i think bike looks and performs better in original self. But also i am vry much of an anti-nacked theme guy. Dats y never liked FZ16.

One more thing-- read in dis forum dat unofficial booking have started. However on enquiry from Probiking showroom, dey assured me of NO booking till Aprl!!!(and then went on to persuademe to book a Duke200)
Can anyone confirm the Unofficial booking, and do i need to have a inside source in probiking to book it unofficially??
[I want my 200NS to be d first one in Kolkata]

I too agree with you on this. I had mixed feelings with Duke 200's pricing. When I went to the showroom to check out the bike, the variety of crowd that came to see the bike only substantiated my doubt.

There were people like us, who have long yearned for a bike like the Duke.

And then there were those, who were chunky ankle length Nike Boots, oversized t-shirts with Rap artist motif.

And there was a middle aged couple, uncle wearing a bright yellow shirt, white pant, white shoes, gold chain, bracelet, et all, who was offering to buy the bike with upfront payment, arguing with the showroom guys on the waiting period.

On the other hand if you see a lot of motorcylists in Mumbai, they ride these current gen 220s with 46 stickers on the windscreen. They dont have a clue about what 46 means, what the doctor means. They wouldnt even know what GP means in MotoGP. You will see their helmets hanging on their arms and popped on their heads only at a signal.

It makes me wonder, what will happen when they get their hands on this 23 bhp machine, or the 25 bhp duke. Their only calling is that these bikes go really fast and will put up a good show.

I was wondering about exclusivity with the duke, now I'm just hoping the general public doesnt slot me as one of these bikers.

Ask Honda, when they introduced current civic design way back in 2005, Toyota had to scratch all new Corolla project, they had to go back to drawing board to put up a better design. Design got a part to play in a product's success. Whether it's loud or minimalistic depends upon individual taste.
When the world was riding aggressive styled bikes, we were just on basic designs. It is just now that the design got a head start in India.

I am not saying that the aggressive design is bad. I welcome it wholeheartedly. But just that it came here after the whole world moved on to other themes.

Big thanks to Yamaha for challenging Bajaj with their FZ. The war has just started and we stand to win!

I hope that Bajaj get a fully faired Pulsar with an extremely aggressive styling!

I don't get your point... Please explain...

    1. Do you want to say that all whoever goes for these bikes are non-bikers..?
    2. If yes, then in what sence...?
    3. Do you want to say that these are "JUST" poser bikes, and are not performance oriented..?
    4. again, If yes, then in what sence...? Please explain...

In case of ZMR, it's a proven best tourer, everybody knows that... In case of Enfields, ...
I'll say it's better not to talk about it. Totally agreed that these are not realiables and all (only old bullets, newer ones are better). But it's not like they are for 'POSERGIRI' only...

I'll say, 99% of Enfield owners go for it just for the love of that beat. And I don't think it's wrong in any way...

P.S.: I don't want to create any brand war here. You can me PM me your answers..

@ mustang70: Neither do I want to create brand war. But was just showcasing my thoughts...
Even I completely agree that nitrosatya is not tatally false, but he's not totally correct either... It's just that he has mistaken the reasons of loving a bike, any bike.
Different people, different tastes, I'll say...
