finally NS is in Kolkata...went to the showroom seen it, first impression is good and tough feeling...but personally would say Duke is way better in feel....
Basically I am a biker who goes with the feel rather than base arguments or some paper stuff...
    So here goes my views
    1. Looks fine and more muscular and big in flesh (though kinda total copy of CB1000R)
    2. seat height is decent
    3. riding position is like other pulsars
    4. front felt real heavy, would not be as nimble as the other rivals, duke scores 100 out here...NS wouldn't get a chance in this department with such a weight and heavy front
    5. finish is good but somehow didn't liked that sticker job, this what Bajaj kept the costs low...not even a good quality paint in the tank flanks only stickers (!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
    6. can keep my feet comfortably down, may be am tall enough for that.
    7. rear to me looked worse for the bike, Bajaj could have done better there, just a copy of 135......which didn't impressed me
    8. number plate(front) holder is again an issue, how come it is placed like that looking at the sky....

Can't comment on the engine and other stuff becoz no test drives available yet....will update soon as we get the test ride..
btw me and Shibadip both went.....
and honestly saying this is the best Pulsar till date from Bajaj stable..
but if you ask me I would still say....
    Its time for Orange....

Same here,I'll talk to the SVC guy about the 220's horn on my bike...also I'll research more about the K&n filters & its impact...if it turns out to be damaging the engine ,I'll perhaps put that money on a projector headlamp after the warranty period on the wiring is over...as far as the console's backlight is concerned , I would like it to be white or light bluish...

those mods are coming out after manufaturer's r&d and nobody knows the machine more than the manufacturer , so it is a safe bet ....

Yes, I'm waiting for the good quality 55W HIDs, should be arriving in a week's time.

I have installed the Volt Metre, just to make sure that 55W HID's shouldn't create a problem. The best part is that it will not. 200NS has 8AH VRLA battery and with that the Regulator feeds a constant 14.6 Volts even at Idle RPM! So, theoretically, even with a dead battery, the magneto can provide enough initial power to the battery so that it the HIDs can draw enough initial current, and then the HIDs can run off the magneto coil alone!

Just waiting for the "low oil pressure" icon issue sorted out

Anyways keep us updated about hid and console... Actually if i get a red bike i'll change meter to red and will change to blue if a get a blue one... Btw will a 55w hid run all day without battery draining even in low rpm....
