This thread needs more creative writers. Anyone out there?
Busa 150 and GSXR 125 will be fantastic! But what about Bking 150 and Intruder 125?

Mischief makers!!! Is that what you called us? This place is going into the 200the page now since its inception and you call us mischief makers, the only ones who are setting the record a little straight!

Ps; I wonder how Pads' name does not figure on that list. He is blabbering no end!

    I strongly second that.

And now it is time for celebration! No, not for the arrival of a new bike. But for this thread going into its 200th page!

Yeah i guess some tweaking is done with the engine to satisfy the emission norms. Maybe speed and pickup is compromised or something. But i am pretty sure 2 stroke Motorcycles cannot be manufactured here.

AFAIK Yamaha discontinued RX135 5S in 2004, when people were still buying it. If production was allowed it would have continued it rather than producing bikes like the Crux...

Still we have Scooty Teenz and TVS XL super both two stroke.

And also today i saw a news in CNBC that RTR 180 may be launched on 15th June.
Yeah, we even have auto rickshaws.

I guess the Indian govt has limited the ban upto a particular capacity. But i am sure that there is a ban, given the stringent pollution norms.

    EDIT : Attachment

And FYI, GDi can be implemented on 4 stroke engines too!

Bajaj has already launched Three wheelers with GDi engine .
As said in economic times by a senior Bajaj Auto executive -
It is a big leap in the two-stroke technology and we are working to get it on our bikes and other two-wheelers. The gasoline direct injection (GDi) engine has substantially lower emissions than even alternate clean fuels like CNG and LPG. Additionally, it has lower operating costs than four-stroke technology that currently dominates the bike market.” Bajaj Auto is likely to customize the GDi technology for its two-wheeler products in the next few months.

----- Let's not make fun of somebodies research...........

I would love to see the 2 Stroke from Bajaj........... Keeping my fingers crossed.
Some one rightly said - Research is what i am doing when i don't now what i am doing.

Wake up.. If research would have been like this i would have ended up being a research analyst..

AS pointed out by Mr. Firestarter 2-Strokes cannot be manufactured in India at this point of time. Abroad Aprilia still sells 2-strokes but In india you will have to wait and wait long...
Yamaha would have launched their Rd350 again keeping in view the price a second hand Rd commands..

So if you are expecting 2 strokes from bajaj my friend you will end up waiting all your life...
Maybe this is another speculative topic up for grabs...

That engine is already working on avenger...

They might bring in two p220s...

One a p220 carb which would b priced around 80k, to take care of the absence of p200....
This way, people would get a bigger machine at a marginal increase in price...

and second would be an FI P220 which would/could sport more power and techs like proper liquid cooling etc etc......and priced at less than 1lakh...

This way bajaj would cover both the worlds....!
    This looks like Bajaj's Strategy...........

    yeah me too..
Infact I wouldn't mind a 600cc karizma too. And a FI engine while we're at it.

The fact is, it's going to be a while - honda need to sell 150cc in numbers to be able to launch a machine that few will buy in a price oriented market like India.
