Some rumours(not based on net), I heard abt new P200, That its feature 2 Stroke gdi(gasoline direct Injection) engine. Which produce more power and less emissions. This technlogy make pulsar more faster and enhacing the racing thortle response.
Its rumour or not but Bajaj's officials also make statement about the fastest pulsars.

Suzuki has planned this bike for the European market for the learners.

Do you really think that the FI was introduced in the 220 for emission reasons? If that is the case, why does the new 180 STILL sport a carb. Now do not tell me that they will discontinue the New 180 the moment the EuroIV norms come into effect.

Yeah it already has Twin Spark, now Six holed injectors.....

Regarding the big pulsars..

I get a feeling that they might do away with the p200...

That engine is already working on avenger...

They might bring in two p220s...

One a p220 carb which would b priced around 80k, to take care of the absence of p200....
This way, people would get a bigger machine at a marginal increase in price...


and second would be an FI P220 which would/could sport more power and techs like proper liquid cooling etc etc......and priced at less than 1lakh...

This way bajaj would cover both the worlds....!

200 is a good machine...... n y to bring two different and scaled down model of theri flagship model...... if they launch 220 so quickly, then again everyone will be asking for Ninja...... now every1's busy abt 220......

But I thght carbs were going the way of the dodo, once BS IV emission norms were enforced in India!! Or else they might have to add a second catalytic converter to meet emissions and that will further strifle the power and add weight !!
So whats the rationale in adding carb to their flagship P220 now, wich is considered special coz because of the FI!!
