dude it was not like YAMAHA first made the engine and then thought...."oh why not install the liquid cooling to it"!!! and bolted the thing on.....

it made the engine according to that only...

and if TVS gonna make the changes into the engine to give LC to it.....
    it'll cost a LOT.......

Really? Source? Because I really liked the FI when I test rode it along with carb and other bikes(which are not in contention now) and I am really happy if they do so.

    some thoughts

Guys really think that the Apache is definately turning out to be a good package considering price and performance.
It is definately more of a complete sports bike than the Pulsar...almost taking it closer to the R15, with which the Apache was always being compared.
A lot of enthusiasts, on a budget who wants some kind of a sports biking experience should go get it.
Wonder why Bajaj is not contemplating a thoroughbred sports bike (for India) like the Apache, light and nimble or better still like the R15, an out and out sports bike..for the track.
Pulsars should be made Bajaj's road bike like the FZ for Yamaha and bajaj should not try to make it into a sports bike by adding bits like split handle bars and all.

Think this is the wrong thread, but somehow these thoughts just came into my mind...

Ok Why TVS Choosed A 17 Inch Rim @ Rear Insted Of 18 Inches Rim ?

@All: Did Any One Noticed The Exaust Note On RTR 180 In Both Videos ?
Which One Is Better Exaust Note ?
    RTR 160 FI
    Or
    RTR 180
may be for slight better acceleration cuz i dont thing TVS altered any gear ratios here.....

FI is not havin the CAt but being carb 180 will be havin so FI will beat 180 in exaust note....

but anyone who has known RTR will jump for 180 and wont be buyin 160 FI....
in my case i would hve gone for 180 if i was to purchase a bike at this time....

but i'm having PARTY with my FI........
I was also swinging between RTR Refresh(RD) with somewhat noisy engine and and FI with lots of new listed problems/issues(heating, power loss, ... ) on ownership thread. Now, 180 seems to be the bike for guys like as it is supposed to have smoother engine and more stable handling.

The one i explained is assumed to give more power output and better performance but regular unleaded will result in knocking and powerloss.

The carb set up also makes it easy to fiddle around with performance enhancement mods too.
