    abhijeet what about digital flashers ? have you made any ? i saw one that auto sets blink rate and is made for leds as well as normal bulbs .that should save some battery power .

    ^^Unfortunately, there is no easy way on this one. You have to fix a LED behind each digit on the meter and connect them properly thru resistors (and diodes if needed.)

    Console backlighting

    Those LED's on the console look fantastic.
    I too want to go for those white one's on my CBZ console.
    Unfortunately i am a layman to the electronic world (management grad.)

    Guys, Could you please tell a simple way that i could benefit from?
    I think i have enough juice in the battery as my brakelights are allready LED's and I'm running on stock headlamp.

    I asked my mechanic about this and he said that it was not possible and even if they replace the bulbs the glow would be insufficient.

    These flashers have a lower limit. When you cross that, the flasher will not blink but remain ON continously.

    Making a custom one with a 555 timer IC is not too difficult! You can search the net on this one!

    Let me clear it..!!

    Bajaj's uses 21w flasher so front indicator 10w + rear 10w + console 1w = 21w

    BUT

    Honda uses 43w flasher, each bulb is 21w i.e front 21w, rear 21w and console 1w.


    And someone said that i used capacitor, NO i didn't use any capacitor. Forget LED, why didn't it blink when I had put 10w bulb ??

    Normal bike blinker relay is rated to 21W, try to find a lower rated blinker module to use with an LED circuit or its even better to design a special circuit for this. Hope Abhi can do this easily.

    You must have used a capacitor in your circuit, so it was not blinking i guess

    21 w for 2 indicators . the LEDs should have flashed ,though much faster rate .

    In Pulsars there are two different rows of LEDs for Braking and Normal Tail lights.

    SMD are also available as single units or can be removed from these strips, which then can be soldered to a pcb.

    What I found out that, the pre-fabricated Resistors, are very reliable.
