I was doing 74kmph and it is supposedly 40kmph zone. Yeah right! why don't you add two more lanes and restrict it to 20kmph? You will get more money Bloody useless cops
my advice would have been to ask the cop to show you the posted speed limit...because on that whole stretch of road ive never seen one...

The stretch b/w hennur signal and nagawara is really inviting one. I used to cross 100 in this stretch easily. But last few months (the collection window) an interceptor used to stand there at the end a curve at a spot which is not really visible earlier. they had a superb time netting any where b/w 10 -20 vehicles every hour in the peak office hour time. Worse still if u try to escape without stopping at the signal of the cop (who would be brave enuf to stand in the middle of the road).. ur number n description wud be relayed to the next signal where u wud be caught definitely (pants down ;P)... Nowadays they have cut down the trees at the corners so u can easily decide whether to go for it or not ...

    1. the stretch connecting Windsor Manor towards infantry rd, opp Le Meridian
    2. on kasthurba rd, from Hudson circle towards MG rd.

Looks like they're all over the city. Better keep the speeds in check

Well, just thought of listing few places where i hav noticed interceptors positioned near my locality (the BIAL airport road)

From MVIT College junction towards city

    1. Opp. BSF gate towards city (target - vehicles coming up the slight climb near Air Force Station, near the runway)... (time: 10 am to 2pm)
    2. Near Nitte college crossing towards airport (target - vehicles crossing the palanahalli area) time: 4PM to 6-7PM
    3. Middle of the Yelahanka Bypass Road - towards airport (target - vehicles coming from under the railway track and the turning) time: 3Pm to 7PM (this is a regular slot for interceptors, the open stretch of the bypass road is really inviting)
    4. Next to Vidya shilp school towards city ( target - vehicles coming from BIAL from the other end of the yelahanka bypass road) time: 3PM to 7 PM
The same interceptor changes location 3 and 4 multiple times during the collection window

    5. After mekhri circle near the entrance of palace ground towards city (target - vehicle coming up of the mekhri circle underpass) very rarely but (bad luck, u never know when hits hard)

well all the location and timing listed is based on my observation, i might have missed few information, please update if any...

such "info" on other known stretches monitored by interceptors wud be highly appreciated....

Dude, just for your information, the speed limit for bikes is 60 on Airport road and on outer ring roads its 50. even i leanrt it the hardway on airport road. got caught speeding at 73kph and 86kph. thank God they let me go with 300 bucks fine. infact i was doing 102kph on that stretch where the interceptor was standing. phew!!!! Lucky escape.

    Inner ring road.

Saw an interceptor travelling on the inner ring road (Indiranagar to Koramangala) today at about 2 P.M. Don't know if they parked it there or not, but they were talking a u-turn at the ejipura junction, be careful anyways, that stretch of road is really inviting...

    Cheers,

    Shr.

Just want to repeat my warning about CV Raman Road (the road that leads to Yeshwanthapur from TV tower/Fun World). There will be an interceptor sitting on the side of the road coming from Yeshwanthapur to Mehkri Circle. Keep your speed at 40 kmph untill you see the Rozzers and then blast away as soon as they are out of sight . No timings on the interceptor, they come out there randomly so keep your guard up.

ok, i normally take tat route @ early morn and nite, haven noticed any of them

IMO, they should concentrate in managing traffic at the newly opened bridge. was struck in a crazy traffic yesterday for ~15mins around 9am. 3 sand lorries in 3 directions. Bl**y a** drivers, they never care for others
