  • [Photo Feature]: My Accident on FZ...

Guys with god's grace i am back... A margin of 2-3 second was the turning point of the accident...

On 23rd July 2009 at 12:30am reached late from office, took a quick shower and i was feeling very hungry took my bike to a hotel which is 2kms away, on the way i was over speeding(above 105km/hr), saw a car with a high beam on the other side of the road coming in my opposite direction and slowly i thought that ghost was approaching towards me, and when i realised it was in front of me, it was too late...
i applied a sudden brake and that guy took the car to the right, me any my bike was thrown to the ground... luckily there was no other vehicle on the road and atlast with not so heavy injuries for me i luckily escaped... was in bed for the last one week... now the wounds are slowly healing and back in the office again...

The life savor is my new AGV HELMET... if it was not there my lower jaw will be in a terrific condition... luckily not much damage to the helmet(it showed it's class)...
i am attaching some pics of my bike which my friend took when taken to the service center...

Shocking to see the front alloys, totally gone. Are those alloys so bad?

wishing you a speedy recovery. I too had a very similar accident 6 months back. My bikes front forks were bent exactly like yours.

oh man , that looks bad , here's wishing you a speedy recovery ... the rest of your bike almost looks pristine man , except for a few scrape marks ... I have never seen a bike suffer this degree of front end damage and still look like yours ...
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

Damn....the front alloy totally screwed up . But, it seems so strange that there is not a single scratch anywhere else on the bike . How this happened? How did only the front alloy broke? Hard braking? Please throw some light buddy.

Thanks to God you are safe. Wish you a speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Its good that you escaped without any serious injury. Hope you will be cautious henceforth. Get well soon.

About the alloys, AFAIK the FZ alloys are hollow.

No the car driver didn't escaped... he was a nice guy... the thing was that he was more frightened than me and after some time he came to me and asked... "At what speed was u? I only saw a light coming towards me, i didn't even knew it was a vehicle..."

As i remember only when i saw the light near i applied the brake suddenly... with a 100+ speed i think the front alloys and brake became highly tempered which resulted in a skiding... the car driver told me the back tyre of my back hitted the under of the back door... but how all the spokes of alloys break is a mistery...
