Did you hit the divider or a pothole or something, because the forks and all suggests that...
There is no way that something o this magnitude could have happen only with braking...
The front forks, the alloy, the disc has been totalled!

Get well soon, and get a new lid... (EVEN IF the current one LOOKS ok to you)

How come all the Spokes of the alloy Break........!!!!!!!
This questions the Quality of the Product...........!!!!!!
I've seen only Alloys getting bended after an accident but not breaking like this......

I think the bike will not handle the same - after the service.......

Hope you will get well sooooon.........
This is India.......so Riding above 100 is like riding on a rope.......

No SP i didn't hit any divider/pothole, the road was a perfect stretch... only one or two scenes are in my mind... the first one when i applied the sudden brake, next when i was rolling on the road my under part(jaw portion) of the helmet scrached twice on the road... and at the end the bike was over my right leg...

It was horrifying but glad that you are recovering fast.

The alloys made me (beep). But I seriously doubt the cause that made the alloys change their shape. My little knowledge says that the Alloys are Pressure Die Casted at the shot pressure of over 300 tons and the alloy is a composition of Magnesium and Aluminum. What could be the posible cause of the alloy going that way... I expect an answer from the Gurus and from Yamaha Too.

Man, looks like the alloys took the entire force. I guess if they had not, the forks and the wheel would have damaged the engine bay, chasis, etc. In the pics, all the damage seems restricted to the forks and wheel.

Do you think the bike could have hit the car, bounced off, hit something else and then landed on the ground?

Do post a pic of the damage on your Helmet.

            Get well soon buddy.

No man will be a marine engineer who has contrivance enough to get himself into a jail;for being in a ship is being in jail, with a chance of being drowned.A man in a jail has more room, better food and commonly better company.

No i don't think i hit any other object on the way... it was a plain stretch road... when my friends took the bike to the SVC... all the mechanics were ambrassed to see those alloys... on guy told don't put the bike near the show room, coz no one will buy the bike... LOL...

There's only some scraches on the jaw portion of the helmet... other wise its ok...

Must've been a nasty whack as it appears to have knocked out all the spokes outta your front wheel.
Here's wishing you a speedy recovery man

And like Satyen and GS have advised earlier, buy yourself a new lid. Once a lid kissed mother earth, its time to bid it goodbye, buy a new one and sing praises about how wearing one saves your cranium.

woooo thank God that you all fine now bro..see thats why Helmets and safety gears are always good for the rider...

About the bike, front alloys, disc, front shockers.... but even the headlight is intact and apart from few scratches on the silencer nothing major seems to happen on the back side of the bike.... and sicne you dont remember it ...so dont strain yourself...I am sure the bike had taken all the imapct on herself...specially the front tyre....

well recover soon bro and ride safe

Lovely job of the alloys - they acted like a crumple zone!
