that engine looks as big as the enfields,i know that's not a sportive chasis, but just as an option if things don't work out with the cbz frame.... how about buildin ur own frame,i think many ppl have done it,but i guess there will be leagal issues... find out in the pbk's if u can get the ninja's entire frame ? maybe they will not give it to ppl with out a ninja.. cause when i totled my uni and needed a frame replacement, they asked for the bike and gave it to me after they verified it... also the uni's frame has a mono suspension arrangement and i can get u the frame (i totled it so may times,i get parts for discount in the svc itself )...

that is one seriously chunky swing arm!

Is that a pro-link arm i see there?
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

The engine is just 450 Miles old, parts are like shinning new except the piston and valves which have a carbon coating, which i will clean up for sure. And as u advised i will be buying all the necessary parts here only, as they will turn out cheap

I ordered a Yamaha YZ 250 Swingarm with locks, and will probably be buying rear disc setup for the same bike
you just need a number punch, which has all the numbers written. Just sand off the numbers on this engine with a suitable file and do a clean enough job of it. Then you just gotta stamp the number of your existing engine on this.

Yeah Dogg, new frame will be more trouble and trust me the engine is not as big as it looks in the images

Seems like you are full of enthusiasm as well as some cash , jokes apart, do update on the cost portion also. This will help us in understanding that what one has to shell out to have a unique 250cc machine, while Ninja 250 R is getitng pretty common these days.

he he .. I wish you were completely right but alas i am only full of enthusiasm

Here is an overview of what i have spent on the parts till now:
                      1. Ninja Motor - $400
                      2. Yamaha Swingarm - $60
                      3. Two Brother Exhaust - Nil (As it came along with 650R 2 Years back)
                      4. Hand Guards - $45

                      * All amounts are inclusive of shipping and tax.

Key is to keep an eye open for bids happening on eBay and praying that some nice guy will post an item under the wrong category and voila

I love these kind of full fledged assembly jobs!! awesome undertaking man!! and also, loved the way you shared the details!! but yeah as many are concerned, I'm also concerned about the CBZ chassis.... I really hope that you have figured every thing out around the chassis.

Does anyone has a wire diagram/photo of CBZ/Karizma frame or anything on the same lines?
