Hi Sunny, awesome that you could get an engine that cheap. I'm using the same idea here in Sweden and taking back an RD125LC engine. Hope things go well and Hope the people at New Delhi Customs are nice. I will be going back in september so if there's anything crucial to share, i'll let you know.

So i finally bought a CR125 here in Sweden and it packs 31hp (if good as new) and planning to bring it in parts or parcel it to india. Hope we get lucky as this is risky business..

First of all - Cheers to the love for this ultimate machine !!
CBZ Classic is in a true sense a legend !
Dude, you are doing a great job ! I wish you luck for successful completion of this one-of-a-kind project ! I am following this thread sincerely, so please keep on updating whenever possible.
I might just fly down to see your baby in flesh when the project is successfully completed. I am serious.
I own this legend and have my own sweet biker story behind it.
One request though, PLEASE as far as possible, don't give this dear bike any cosmetic modifications and would love to see this transformed bike in the stock assembly !

All the CBZ owners will agree to this I am sure!
Cheers !!
Once a biker, alwayz a biker !!

Hi Sunny,
So when is the exact date you are arriving in India? and which airport are you arriving at?
and the YZ swingarm - Do you have a shock absorber for it? because the stuff you get back home is not gonna do justice to the pro link system.

You are more than welcome to check it once i complete it ..
Navin .. Are you serious! And i thought i can fix any shock absorber, as they look the same (height adjustments might be needed). For pro-link setup i will have to fix the frame for the screws to go in!Originally posted by navinmorpheus View PostHi Sunny,

So, finally started with dis-assembly of Jai-Paaji. I have got him into nut & bolts now. Will be getting the frame modified to adjust the swingarm soon

Thats a Bentley Projector, serving right in the front.

My hand guard setup.

I guess he will look cool with monoshock and a beefy swingarm!

Dis-Assembly in process.

All in nuts & bolts

Dirty Valves.

Dirty Piston.

Now i will be assembling the engine after replacing the piston and cleaning up the valves, was thinking of using Karizma's piston rod but taking out the existing rod looking pretty tough so i am going to pass it
Any suggesting for engine upgrade are more than welcome
