hid never fails no matter if i ride in bumper to bumper traffic for at-least 1-1/2 hour....
provided i use High beam..
high beam swap then switches off hid, but high beam works.
if my battery is a bit low due to low charging from coil in traffic, only then this happens...
at highways both work wonderfully...
infact the battery performance has improved today more than yesterday...

its strange that you use say a 150-160w with just 4 poles

and how could you imagine my expression..

so far i dunno i seem to be satisfied...
but still i might do it when the time comes...

U NEED TO REWIND AGAIN

I dont use my spots as driving lights, just for flashing or even to warn the oncoming fellow to dip. So that can be taken care of from the batt without much issues. But I tried once for 15-20 mins with the spots facing down and no issues that time.

Dude, at the time of my rewinding there was not even an idea of DC conversion, so I want to keep my batt charging coils. Without that 3 poles I was able to glow a 100W for 6 months at the cost of 3 HL assy. 130W+ from 4 poles balance will be very minimal from the batt if I switch on the spot may be thats the reason am safe.

Anyways a decently rewinded coil will give u very good results may be mine was one of that.

BTW, why do u want to use this HB continuously if u have a nice low beam? P220 HB is a killer if u flash, so imagine the what would be in result if u use it continuously

well your right, i actually don't need a high beam, due to good low beam...
but it takes time getting used to hid's bro, you may know better, i never kept high beam parallel to the road before until now...
previously my high beam was above low beam both pinted on the road..
my high beam now is parallel..
I'll work upon a diode this weekend and then will be happy to flash...
and yes ONLY to flash...

hid is killer...

here comes the pics as promised...

however I'm not satisfied as the road was wet and reflecting a lot of light..

i did get a hang of a dark road without traffic, but the poor thing was that 1 swap to high beam killed my hid as well as my battery, after riding a bit and coming again, a flickering hid is what i got, so i couldn't show you the cut off, on a wall and high beam as how long it was and so and so...

I'll go this Saturday to get coil re-rewinding done,
I'll show every road possible in and around mumbai with this combo setup on request then..

eventually as i said earlier, wet road reflects a lot of light, so hid visible in these pics is much more stronger in real time...

also I've adjusted my beam a bit higher as i use LOW only at all times, so in this setup, my high beam is parallel to the road...

these are standard camera settings with flash off...

if you notice the beam spread carefully, you'll notice that it is uneven a bit as 2 patches of less light fall below...
this patches are developed due to the holes in the projector...

a lot of light gets wasted due to this, the battery was dead or else i would have shown you people as how my dome, console and forks glow even brighter than the projector ...

idea is to have bixenon hid in reflector and hid in projector as well which will have dual beam with the help of shed,like sajjits...

planning to put just as mentioned as in the picture ,one upon one.
i really want to get rid of the shitty reflector of pulsars,the highbeam is tooo wide.

idea is both will have low beam and both will have high beam,but in this reflector the high beam is one of a kind,its tooo good,remember its the reflector that was useed in dcm toyota trucks,eicher trucks and also in contessa classic,so throw and beammming is really good.
