    Yup that's true, seriously just two years back my phone was 17k for a brand new and now it won't even go for 1k , so it's better to buy something average and invest in something for a lifetime or at least for many years like a good camera . . .

        I am just going to bombard it with pictures now, some of them are really old shots!

          Yup you are right, so that's the reason I mentioned in the previous posts stating, will buy a lesser price tag mobile and save up the remaining for a Sony P&S which you all advised me on. . . Also, just to take pics for the time being, I guess a cellphone would be good but the real fun will start after I get a cam . . .

                  I guess you should consider getting an iphone!
                  All the craze about iphone photography is not as much of a hoax as i initially thought it to be!
                  Its seriously a valid option ! Quite head to head with Point and shoots, unless you want to print your pictures, which is where the P&S sensors have a bit of an advantage.
                  With all the accessories that are out there for iphone photography and the iphone cameras themselves you can seriously consider it.

                  And if you really want to get a camera, go for a bridge camera such as the canon powershot sx series. It actually all depends on your budget

                      Hey ! I was going through your page, you have got some amazing shots yourself, especially the HDRs . And yes lets keep this thread alive, I have tonnes of images and I click new ones everyday, so I will fill this thread up with pictures

                      Ummm, some of those shots were clicked using The Nikon D3100 that I had with the 18-55mm kit lens, a nifty fifty, a Tamron 70-300 and the sigma 10-20 mm which was a sort of a more recent addition. And the shots towards the end were taken with the Nikon D7100 which I purchased this year and a nikon 35mm, along with a SB-700. Now I have sold the D3100, the 18-55mm kit and the Tamron 70-300, So I have the D7100, 35mm prime, 50mm prime, Nikon 70-300 mm vr and the Sigma 10-20 mm for landscapes along the SB-700. I also bought the Nikon 24-70 2.8, but I sold it and booked the KTM DUKE 390
                      When life gives you Yamaha, make it RD350 not R15. :D
