Regarding your problem, after the first start( sometimes cold start) i would leave the engine to run for about 1-2 mins before actually using it. It warms up the engine. I am not sure if this is the solution to your problem but just try it out.
    Also why the high idling?
Yeah, check it after 3rd service.

Even if I run 5 kms and above, the problem is still there.
I don't know but the high idling was present from day one.
Will record the engine idling and the jerking sound and post it here ASAP!

Try using Rubbing Compound and then polish with a good Wax polish.
        Use at your own risk.

Thank you for your quick reply! I got it repaired today near college. Jc road for 300rs(told he 350 but i negotiated :P)
Looks as good as new. Job well done and worth the cash I felt. Very happy now
Left it around 11 and got it back by 2 He cleaned it first with sand paper or something and started putting different layers of primer n paint. At the end did some touch up and no difference at all from the stock colour. Uploading pics taken before and after repair....What do you guys think?

What and how did that guy do?
Really surprising, I cant find any difference.
            Ask him the procedure please.
It would benefit all of us.
But it is his profession, if he denies to disclose it, let him go.
But real neat work is done for sure!
I just thought it is some scratches on paint i.e. scratches on clear coat layers.
Rubbing compound will remove one of the top layers of clear coat and then remove the scratch marks.
But be glad that you bought a white scooter, if you have went for some other colours, that paint guy would have turned mad searching for the spray paint colour code matching the original colour code.

Yeah thank god I bought white! xp
I did ask him the procedure a couple of times but all he said was he would first rub it which cleans the scratches but also remove the top layer. So after that he repaints it but uses a number of layers of paint and primer to maintain that cohesion and good finish. He did mention something about lacquer also That's all he said....I saw on a number of TV shows also using the same procedure to remove such scratches....
Everything is perfectly dried up now...all it needs is a good wash

Dont give your Wego to roadside washers, they wil ruin paint finishes, I got one with swirl marks and minute scratches all over the metals and plastics.
Buy yourself a high pressure water spray gun and a wax polish to apply.

Which version of Wego is powerful according to you? Old or New one?
I feel the old one had the power within 50 kmph and then lost its breath.
The new one is balanced for all ranges!

My friend has the old model and after riding both i felt the same. My other friends also had the same thing to say. The old model was more focused for city riding while this has a well spread healthy torque band. On paper i think there is negligible difference between the power figures however since the new model uses the Jupiter's engine it drives differntly. This is what i felt.

What is the difference between the old and new wego in terms of engine?
If I had to convert or transplant an old wego engine, what should I do?
