Every thing is normal,After piston change you have to do a small runin for the rings, say 500kms You have to keep your bike below 60 after piston ring replacement which will be best for the engine life.
bro i always change my oil within 1k kms.always used castrol power 1 10w30. shell/gulf not available....

somewhere in xbhp i read that changing piston rings is a temporary solution....it will go for another 5-6k kms, after then problem may arise again...thats why i'm woried.

but i didnt get the point how did my piston rings gone in just 9k kms??? everyone is laughing at me.....

i completed my run-in for 1k kms, serviced regularly....

    thanks bro for your reply....

yes... and i dont reccomend something which i am not satisfied with or not sure about.
for sure they may be even better oils available in market, but the fact remains that shell do does the work properly...

                  • How are Michelin M45 tyres on CBZ extreme ? How's the wet grip ??

I'll be changing the tyres on my cbz extreme this weekend and need to zero down on the better ones' . Learnt my lesson the hard way.. skid on a wet road and bruised my knee. Thankfully i had gloves so no bruises on my palms.

I'm concerned about the wet grip of the tyres. .so pls let me know about the overall performance of M45 and wet grip of these tyres. I found a dealer in Hyd who has stock of these tyres. Any other tyres that have very good to excellent wet grip will also do. Budget is around 4-4.5k for both the tyres. Can stretch slightly provided the grip offered is worth it.

                    Looking for stock sizes - Front 2.75 * 18 and rear 3.00*18
Can I use MRF tubes with the M45's ?

                    Thanks.

                      Its Awesome.

Stocke rrear size is 3.50=100/90-18. and 3.0 is small for cbz.

Can I use MRF tubes with the M45's ?
Yes,But the rear 100/90-18 is not compatible with 3.0 * 18. I am using my stock tubes in both M45's.

                      Thanks.
