I tried changing stock battery to amaron 9Ah today but couldn't as the battery was not fitting at all .. modifications had to be done for the front clamp and the top bracket had to be bent as well.. the height was bigger than the stock setup so the top bracket has to be bent or removed .. and even then the battery cover couldn't be closed properly .. finally settled for exide 7ah battery.guys..if you ever need blood or want to donate blood, please refer to this site :

INR 1200 . Warranty 15 months . These are low maintenance batteries .. no acid drain pipe. Am planning to go for castrol power 1 20w40 in my cbz xtreme which has done 23000kms.Can we use this or should we just stick to 10w30 as recommended by HH.As monsoon has already approached ,does this grade cause any starting problem for the bike?
Also have a thought about going for shell ax7 10w40 SS.Which would be the better option??Thanks in advance!!

Wierd Problem with my bike
hi i am having a strange problem in my Hunk ,yday i was on a long ride speeding at 80kmph suddely i felt as if there is no petrol in the bike & bike will come to halt, it started giving jhatkas i had to accelerate hard then ,even when changing gears these problem were present it was like the bike had no power in it but after some time the problem vanished. I took the bike to a mechanic today he removed the spark Plug cleaned it & reinserted it but then again the problem is still there at times ,bike behaves wierdly as when i take it to mechanic the problem is not there but when i drive for some time the problem suddenly creeps up.I worried please help.Comment

1st servicing done... at 704 kms..... RPM issue fixed...
... after hours of trying though..... gearbox is smooth now... feels like makkhan ..... m getting efficiency over 55kmpl.... very happy...
RIDING STYLE FOLLOWED:
speed around 45kmph... on very few occassions around 50kmph
rpm between 3.5 - 4 k
70-30 (highway-city riding)

about my cbzx 2010
hey guys....i have my new cbz xtreme 2010...thats the one with only front disc...
bought it in feb of this year...dint get to ride much....so have done only 1500 kms till date....
got first dervice done at 230kms...
but there is some problem....i went for a long ride this weekend....rode around 300kms in a day....n by the time i was back th ride had become very rough....i calculated th mileage....it was just 42kmpl....inspite of so much of highway riding..
i do not ride rashly...no bad gear shiftings....i ride sensibly...but still got a bad mileage and above all...th ride had become so rough....hard gear shifts....more vibrations than normal....
so i got it serviced yesterday at 1540 kms....n even now after th oil change i dont feel much improvement in ride quality....i use th engine oil which th company provides....
i need some help on this issue guys....and suggestions on engine oils and any other thing....
any kind of advice regarding bike maintainance or improving performance is welcomed..

Guys.....
my bike has clocked 9k kms....but i always had vibration problem starting from 4k at handlebar & from 7k @ whole body...
my engine also sounds quite harsh, sounds like an engine clocked 100000kms. tappets adjusted many times but the harshness doesnt reduce.
my bike doesnt drink oil, has very good pickup.
recently under warranty ring & piston is changed.
my query is whether i have to change any other engine parts too?? after changing my ring piston will my bike's engine last longer??

i have been using shell advance ax3 (mineral) 20W40 for last 4500 kms.. and its pretty impressive.... u can get one in 294/- from shell station hinjewadi ...Comment

You have to keep your bike below 60 after piston ring replacement which will be best for the engine life.
