Apart from maybe you could try and use a 10w40 oil.
Tappet clearance was done by Honda authorised center, he said that is the max he could alter. In cild start noise is more After riding ~3-5 kms the noise almost vanishes.

I will try for 10w40 at next oil change.

You need to find the TDC at compression stroke. That's when both the valves are closed and you will notice some play on the rocker arms vs the 'super tight' if you don't get the tdc on compression stroke.
Remove the spark plug (maybe insert a screw driver a wee bit thru the spark plug hole and notice when the piston hits the screwdriver) and keep an eye on the valves as you turn the engine. there is essentially two tdc's i.e. one at exhaust stroke (when exhaust valve is open) and the other at compression stroke (when both valves are closed). You need to adjust the clearances on the tdc of compression stroke. Get it wrong and sometimes can result is catastrophic engine damage.
Might take a couple of try's/turning over of the engine before you get it right.

Either try to find the workshop manual or get yourself this book "The ABC of servicing and maintaining your Honda Unicorn"
Some info about that book http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...a-unicorn.html

Can anyone help me to get the TDC correctly?

Identified the root cause today. Removed the tank to see any leakages in doing so suddenly tilted the tank and the eureka moment, petrol pourinhg from tank lid. Seems the rubber gasket is worn out.

Hence I went to local spare store, he said to replace the petrol lid as a set. Will go to Honda service center and enquire tomo.

    Cheers!

Maybe the quality has dropped in the past 3 yrs. But I see more siracs now then back then. Try it for a limited mileage. Keep your speeds under check to be on the safe side. I too was concerned about punctures with siracs being of softer compound and all but it has avoided me till now.

The slight increase in weight of the new tires also bring forth any wear and tear of the bearings and sprockets, since the new rubber is softer and hence more sensitive. You may/probably experience this with any new tire that you change to. If you can afford it, go for it.

Can anyone share the contact details of a good paint shop in Mumbai? Need to get everything including the frame to be painted. How much does it cost nowadays?

I was also planning to add an additional horn to my ZMA, hence the questions
This is the stock horn which came with my Suzuki GS150R.
When one of my GS horn (low tone) failed, I installed 2 new splendor horns in my GS.

Coming back to Unicorn, I can hear the additional sound and it does it job perfectly.
I do not recollect the name but it should be Minda and it is a high tone horn.

You can source decent Minda horns (used for smaller bikes) from 100-150 RS. I would love to install Pulsar's horn set but they cost 470+ and thats why I went with the splendor ones in my Suzuki.
