Sorry for the late reply bro! I had uninstalled the xBhp app and have been out of touch for a while!
Anyway, getting back to your questions, I changed the stock rear at around 9k kms. Tyres aren't supposed to run out that fast, but well, mine is a second-hand ride, and given the way the earlier owner had abused her (which was apparent from the 40k I had to shell out on repairs and servicing just after I bought her), it was apparent the tyres were probably abused too (burnouts and stuff are so common these days!).
I bought the Dhoom 3 for 3100/- from a local tyre shop.
My baby blade is nearing 18000 kilometers on the Odo, nearly 9k kms on the Dhoom 3. The grip has been decent, it seems to have a lot of life left. But as of what I've experienced, this tyre seems dangerous in the wet! I've used by bike for some good highway commuting in the rains, and even braking with 50% pressure results in the rear tyre locking up and fishtailing! I even had a light fall recently, but that was in completely dry conditions, I was taking a u-turn somewhere in my complex, leaned in a bit, and as I powered out of the curve, the bike powerslid and we both landed on the concrete road, and I was like, "where in the hell did that come from?!?!!"
So honestly, I would NOT recommend this tyre to anyone. If anyone is looking for a good tyre, I'd suggest the MRF Revs series. Changed my front tyre to an MRF and boy, the braking and cornering have become so much better!
And, what I'd really recommend to anyone out here, is to go with the Michelin Pilot Street Radial. Have heard it's one of the best tyres for this bike. Yes, it is priced at the higher end, but in my opinion, if you're into corner-carving and stuff, and if you really are that kind of person that enjoys each and every bit of his relationship with his bike, it's best to save up and get her the best. That's what I intend to do. As soon as the Dhoom 3 crosses 20-25k kms, I'm going to get my baby blade a Pilot Street Radial! And I'm going to do the same for the front tyre as well!

    Re: Honda CBR 150 R

Hey guys, can someone guide me as to how to open the front fairing assembly to change the windscreen in our bikes? My bike is currently fitted with a transparent windscreen but I want to put in an old stickered one that I had replaced earlier when my bike had undergone some expensive engine work. Now the Honda SVC guys wanna charge me a good 250 bucks just to change a windscreen which costs only about 275 bucks. So instead of losing the cash I thought of keeping it a DIY job - changing the windscreen myself! Saves me the cash and would be an enjoyable experience too!
    Please help and guide me!

    Hi guys...
Today I took my bike for service. The guy at service station told me that I should install "oil booster" in my bike. He told me that it will keep oil clean and will increase lubrication and prevent parts from rusting....

Anyone knows about that "oil booster" thing? Should I install it in my bike?

    From Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Bro I am also having the problem. Brought her last week , rode her about 750 kms . Should I tell SVC about this problem on first service or is it normal ?

Thanks for reply bro. Till now using Motul 7100 in my Bike. Will shift to Shell on next servicing.

Some questions in my mind :-

    1. What is the Engine Oil Strainer Screen ?

    2. What is the average life of CBR 150R Chain and sproket kit ?

    3. Is their any alternate Chain & Sproket Kit available for CBR 150R ?

Please enlighten me about the prices of the same (and the mudguard as well)! Thanks!
You cannot buy the headlamp cover separately, you will have to buy the entire headlamp assembly which will set you back by 3000rs. And the mudguard will be around 800-900rs max. The above cost are of cbr250r so for 150 it should be around the same price bracket.

    Cheers,
    Sanjay
