  • [Ownership Thread]: Hero Ignitor

    Hi all xbphians.

Thanks to all for your kind comments and helping me to choose IGNITOR (black color). This is my first bike and yes you guys will say that this is duplicate copy of STUNNER but, its better than outdated stunner, its like an updated version

    its way better than Stunner
    1. Better looks
    2. Digital Meter
    3. Kick Start
    4. Handling better than Stunner
    5. Hero Trust

its muscular and huge bulky type of bike exactly what i want it

I got took this bike on 11.11.2012 at Dhanteras showroom was Crowded as hell,

By far i would say this is the best bike in 125cc. If anyone of you wants to have stylish bike. I would say go for this

im not going above 40-50kmph and maintaning RPM at 4000-5000
MILEAGE? - i have no idea, but will be soon

Congrats Ravi on your new purchase. Do keep updating this thread

      Congratulations.
Do you have an option to not take a pillion? If yes, don't

                alright 250km done
1st time i went to reserve mode then the engine becomes little stressed i rushed to nearest petrol pump and get it filled then engine is again smooth then after 5 minutes of riding it again little stressed,
why is this happening? its not smooth than before it used to be
                whats wrong with that?

                        1) There is no AUTO Choke its Manual Choke and its right below the the fuel tank
                        2) No exact idea with the mileage but i think im getting 30kmpl, coz first i filled Rs. 500 petrol and its gone under 200km

Adulterated petrol - Cheap stuffs (like kerosene and like) mixed with Petrol. More or less done by all petrol pumps.. U can't help it. Just hunt for a good pump, where u get good mileage, and smooth ride, and then stick to that pump..

As of ur problem, I had similar kind of prob in my NS. I think it is because the new bikes comes with two different fuel pipes, One for main, and other for reserve, which is shorter than the main pipe. So, when fuel gets less in the Main mode, then this strained behaviour kicks in..
                          Also might be due to
Adulterated petrol some dirt may have accumulated on the carb, and thus, when there is less fuel pressure, the fuel line gets clogged up.
                          sigpic
Relationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

30Kmpl ... Thats very ok .. i think its tunning .. Hero's engine like drink petrol's first(more lasting) don't worry you will get average 45+Kmpl with this bike after driving 2500 and Second service done. Also your riding style matter, i personally think you are driving very short trip's(like 2kms-4 kms) so lots of On Off your bike. and you are playing with clutch.
