    You can try Bajaj New CT-100 sprocket which is 14T sorry I could not find any 15T sprockets having the same pitch and fitment holes. Pulsar 150/180's front sprocket may fit, though the chain pitch is minutely different.

    I thought chain velocity has nothing to do with acceleration as long as the ratio is optimal. I.e for example d200 has 42/14=3.00 and my 200NS has 39/13=3.00 (stock NS has a 39/14). Obviously due to bigger rear sprocket on the duke, the chain velocity is greater. What effect does that have?

    VJ any suggesstions as to which bike's front sprocket would be a direct fit to boxer? There are loads of pages to search through

    If the bike is redlining, you can consider changing the front to a bigger as it's the cheapest to do rather than changing the rear sprocket, which is a tad costlier affair. But most guys guys opt for a bigger rear for increased chain velocity. But best of luck.

    Bigger rear Sprocket right? But it will tend to have faster acceleration then... the thing is I am red lining in 1st gear very easily..
    cant keep the wheel up for long.. will try with a new sprocket.. till then Practise Practise and Practise some more..

    Any bike would do more than 20 kmph in first gear. If you're into wheelies, try using a bigger sprocket than the current one.

    Sticking with the stock is pretty much hassle free. You can get some aftermarket chains and sprocket, but here in India there isn't much on the sprocket, but you have aftermarket chain set. So I'd suggest if you'd like to avoid the hassle, stick to stock, as stock is basically the same Rolon kit.

    Great move. Unless you're really into drag or where milliseconds count, stock is more than enough to handle most of the job at hand. Plus now you know why Apache has the so called famed "RTR" where it's nothing but a big cog at the rear.

    With inputs from senior members, I felt that a mere gain a 1 or 2sec in acceleration is not worth the mileage loss (on a already low mileage) and the decrease in the chain+sprocket life.

    It's better to change the sprocket as a set if you have the OEM bike, else in most showrooms, they do sell a single piece front and (front and rear set). But if you still can't get them on showrooms, your best bet would be local resllers.

    As per my knowledge they do not sell it individually. If thats the case then go for duke's rear one which I think would probably do enough.
