Yes. Despatches to Delhi will only start around 15th Sept and will reach showrooms around 3rd week, just in time to meet the 3 month booking committment.
Apparantly Bajaj is keen on just exporting considering the situation of the rupee and doesnt care about the domestic market.

Bajaj has 47% of decision making about KTM bikes, KTM has 53%. And they're a foreign company.
Yes, KTM as a foreign company has its priorities. Compare the price of D390 in Europe and here, combined with the fact that Europe is KTM's domestic market, and it's easy to understand what their priorities are.
I'm pretty sure Bajaj is doing its best to bring D390 as soon as possible to Indian market.
Just look at the price they managed to secure for India. We should be all very grateful to Bajaj for it.

One cannot keep on harping about good pricing when the product is not available since its unveiling in May.

Re: KTM 390 - The original Hooligan - Ownership Thread
All of you DO realize that in the press conference which happened last week, it was officially declared that deliveries are going to START in the last week of September (Bajaj Auto). Whatever the cause, its not enough to turn on each other. So relax and wait.Step 1: Get in position
Step 2: Pay the booking amount

Well we have a 90 days waiting period so till then sit back and keep waiting--
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
2012 - Honda Unicorn
2013 - Duke 390 (Booked - Cancelled)
2014 - RC 390 (Waiting)
